More info about the floating mag issue: It only happens when you get the weapon from an ammo box. If you spawn the unit with the weapon, nothing is wrong. Great job btw, thanks for the addon :)

Connecting failed in OA, not in Arma 2

Reclusive, there are two possibilities for you and your friends to enjoy this "Farewell to ARMA 2" weekend. You can connect to each other via Hamachi and start a LAN game, a friend tried that and said it is working. Down side is that you can only connect 5 people at the same Hamachi host, so you'll be limited to 5 players. Other way is setting your launch options (steam) or your shortcut parameters to -connect=<server ip> -port=2302 I've been having this issue with my dedicated (remote) server since Saturday night and the only way I can connect to it is via this piece of code. Give it a try, might solve your problem. -

Does the server needs to run the beta too? If so, how do I update it and set it to run? This "fix" won't solve the connection via in-game (gamespy) listing either, right? -

Curious thing is why some servers continue to work. I mean, I can connect into some other servers, but not mine. -

But is there any way to solve this? I have a dedicated server running in a remote pc and nobody can connect to it. :( -

I'm having the same problem, but with another mission. I was testing my MSO yesterday and suddenly no one else was able to connect to my dedicated server, which has been working fine for the past 10 months. Checking the RPT file, it says: Version 1.62.95251 NAT Negotiation failed - unable to communicate with the server I've checked the Firewalls on the server and the port forwarding on my home pc. But nothing seems to work. Any ideas about that would be nice, Thanks in advance. Edit: Apparently this is a problem with gamespy. Thanks. :) -

Can someone please enlighten me? I'm running a server using Tophe's tool, and when everyone disconnects, it automatically reload the mission and start a waiting period for someone to log in into the server to reinitialize the modules and stuff. Is there any way to make it don't do that? I'm trying to run a MSO and this obviously is getting rid of everything we did during the section. Thanks in advance, Zimu -

Yes, thank you. I've already looked into both that links before, the forum post was a bit old so I just decided to create a new one. And at the dev-heaven page there's nothing referred to this issue in particular. I had to make it so my repositories are all smaller, but it's not the ideal. I'll still waiting for some more replies, but thank you already larsiano. -
Hello everybody. I'm having some issues while using Yoma's Addon Sync 2009 when trying to build a repository. The problem is: Me and a group of friends have a dedicated server running Arma and we need to make a repository so everyone can be sync'd with our server. Everything goes fine and I can successfully build a repository IF it has less than 2000 files. I've tried multiple times to make it work and build bigger repositories, which is needed, but I just get a crash every time when it gets past 2000, the last three times I tried, it got to 2027, 2030 and 2031 before crashing. I first thought it was a problem with whatever file was at that file position so that the file was crashing the Addon Sync. But turns out that no matter what file gets to that count, it will crash. Does anyone else have/had this problem and can help me or point a direction on where to go with this? Thank you very much, Zimu.
