  3. Hello all. I have been trying to script some units to spawn on my character when i activate an addaction.   5. So i want to spawn a unit on myself via a radio trigger. Do you think that i can get a unit to spawn at all. No. I need some help. Can someone explain why this doesnt work. I have a script setup called Script.sqf It contains hint "spawned"; "SoldierWB" createUnit [position player, group player]; I have a trigger radio alpha. In its On activation it has this: dumvar = [] execVM "script.sqf" The script runs and posts up the hint. The script doesnt spawn a unit. What am i doing wrong? Please enlighten me :) Thanks for your time.

    Difficulty Overhaul

    With the removal of the friendly AI + Enemy AI precision and skill options is there any way of changing the AI skill for opposing sides? For instance if i am using a squad of friendly AI vs say militia i would prefer the militia to have a lower skill level compared to my squad of trained vets. Is this possible anymore and if so how would i achieve this?
  7. I am having issues using TADST to set the difficulty option of waypoints to be on permanently rather then fade out after a brief time. How do i do that with this tool as there is only a setting to turn it on and off? Can someone help me out in telling me how do achieve this setting? Thanks heaps. :D

    [MP][CTI-COOP] Liberation (beta)

    Just wanted to open this by saying i seriously am in love with this version of CTI. Looks clean and polished and works like a treat. I have a single problem. I am working on getting this set up so i can use it as my go to singleplayer experience however i have run into a problem. The issue is with high command and its interaction with this mission and the scripts that are running. Here is a quick video explaining the issue/bug https://youtu.be/CUPLQy3Qtx0 As explained in the video there is something that is activating every few seconds that is making it a real chore to manage squads in high command. Now i have tested this in a fresh vanilla version of this mission and a few other ones modified by myself and other people and it happens in all of them. I have a feeling it has something to do with the permanence sync script but this is just speculation on my part. If there is nothing that can be done about this issue that is fair enough, however if you can think of a fix for it and let me know i would be forever thankful. Cheers mate and keep rocking hard doing what you are doing. Impressive work :)
  9. Hi, I have been testing the Insurgency mission template with the database enabled. I have found that player location and kit spawn correctly however it seems to not save the helmets. So when you rejoin the server you have no helmet.

  11. Thanks for getting back to me HH, glad i could be of some use ironing out some of the bugs for MSO. I have stopped running the Takistan mso due to a few issues that have prevented me, stability wise, keeping the server running smoothly. I switched to the Cherno RC3 candidate and i am finding that it is much better on system resources and over-all stability and have been running a ded server with an uptime of 5 days now. With taki i would have weird crashes every 12-24 hours. I am keeping an eye on the log files too see if there is any other strange anomalies that may or may not be bugs and if i find any i will let you guys know. :)
  12. Ok thanks for getting back to me, so you are suggesting that its a bad idea to store mags and weapons in the back of a vehicle? Bear in mind that when this particular information was extracted from the log files that this was a clean install of MSO so there should not have been any player interaction with the crates or any kind of storage in vehicles or crates.
