Yeah the M1911 would be a better fit. But wasn't there like a Beretta 9F or some version like that was created in the 80's and soldiers turned their M1911's over for this Beretta 9F? --Also-- I know MARSOC uses a special version of the M1911 today, i was saying that every Marine corp Regular and even some Army infantry would still prefer the M1911 over the M9. -

OH are you going to give most/all units 1911's? Because that would make sense. The Beretta M9 Just started to enter the force in 1985 so i think it would make more sense if most of the units carried 1911's instead of M9's, especially the Marine Corps who (Still to this day) prefer the M1911's over the M9. -

But i feel like the M151 would still have some traces left in the military. I doubt it would have been completely wiped out. It could just be a mix with HMMWV's (With out the M2 machine gun) and the MUTT. -

I was just curious because i use Mando missile all the time and i like their flare and ECM system and when i play with Mando missile, the flares you naturally get is taken away. I'll just have to make a sacrifice because between me and everyone on this thread, THESE bad boys are much better than the one Meatball has. -

Ask CWR2 to replace their own units? I don't think that would go down too well, i personally think they shouldn't have a problem with it but it would be a failed request. And to this day i still do not know how to make addons, make replacement packs or anything like that. If someone did do it would they still need to ask permission from CWR2? I would REALLY appreciate it if someone took that initiative. -

For real though, anyone know how i could replace the CWR2 units with the 80's woodland units because honestly these are just amazing. I thought the units in CWR2 were awesome, but now... -

So are the units replaced permanently or could i still use my replacement packs? Beautiful work btw [[EDIT]]: Just going to be honest here, i'm not really liking this demo/mod the way it is right now. All of the default soldiers on both sides (Except for the US army and CDF and maybe the independents)are really glitchy and jumbled, they look like you combined all the units's textures and uniforms and gear and mixed them all together. The "Ch-46" and" CH-53 aren't at all, they're the UH-60 seahawk and CH-47 Chinnok. The animations were the #1 Killer for me. The jogging animations were fine in ArmA 2, why change them? Now i feel like i'm playing ArmA I or default OFP again and those animations were bad... I know this is just a demo i just need to state my opinions on this mod right now. -

Some more suggestion i just thought of while playing the CWR2 mod with these units. You could also make some Gas masks and or NBC units as well and when you figure out some scripts or get some help you could give players the option to put the masks on! And/or you could make a winter version of these soldiers since you've already made a woodland and desert! Are you interested? I do have one more question though. I can not seem to find the difference between the 80's units and the 90's units, nor can i see the difference between rifleman 1 and rifleman 2 for the 80's units, Is it just me? -

Amazing, and it's obvious you put a lot of time and effort into detailing these bad-boys, but i have a question. Is this (Or will this new version) compatible with Mando missile? Because the last time i used this, my flares went away and had problems with the armament. I'll be fine with removing the Mando Missile mod, but i'm just curious! -

I would actually argue that the 1911 was still widely used in the army and Marine corps up to the early 90s and into Desert Storm, (Except for the Marine corps who still preferred the 1911). The AT4 was still in testing during the early 80's and didn't see real combat until 1987 in Panama. M60E4 definitely did not see combat for a long time after the 80's and probably 90's Except for the E3 version. Are you going to introduce LAW launchers and early M60 versions in later updates? Maybe not the M60 because the M60E3 looks a lot like the E4 and that was used in the late 80's You could probably ask for permission to use these weapons from CWR2 mod. I'm not saying you HAVE to, just making a suggestion i could be happy either way. -

AMAZING! So much detail, love to see the military at a time where they all looked the same except for those subtle differences! Also, is the bayonet and flashlight just for show or are you going to associate actions with them? It would look cool if i could fix bayonets even if i won't be able to actually stab players with it. -

Anyone not seeing the "Medic Packs" that were supposedly given? I have the "save game" option but no medic packs. I have Mando Missile pack installed and it give me the option to "see my score" Does that effect it? -

I don't understand, I don't have the same experience you are explaining. I can only fire the (With the AH-64C from the "beta") 38 hydra rockets on manual fire, if i don't switch to manual fire the gunner has control and will only fire if i aim the helicopter at the target. I am not having this problem with the Cobra in CWR2, i am not having this problem with the default cobra, i am not having this problem with the AH-64D, and i'm not having this problem in Eagle Wing. Could it be Mando Missile pack? Because that is the only mod i am running this "beta" with.- 1308 replies

Anyone else having a problem where i get an error message that says "no entry 'Bin\config.bin\cfgfactionclasses.usnavy" Anyone knows what that means? Does it have to do with the pilot? because it's in there? It doesn't come up when i use ACEX_USnavy. -

Fine in the beta, every other helicopter gives the pilot control over the rockets, i'm simply saying it doesn't make very much sense for one (and the only) helicopter that gives the gunner the control. And yes it is a hassle, i shouldn't have to take my hand off of any part of the keyboard or mouse while, again, i'm being shot at by an Anti-Aircraft gun just to switch to Manual fire, fire a few rockets, then switch back. I've (or the gunner more commonly) died multiple times in the "ground attack II" mission because of this. You have to admit it doesn't make sense for every other helicopter to give the pilot control, except for one helicopter. Yes i know that. I'm talking about the two that are placed far away from the city and are supposed to attack it. I know this because i could see the fire&smoke from far away and ran towards it to investigate. That makes sense, glad i'm not the only one.- 1308 replies

Switching to manual fire is a hassle when you're in the middle of destroying a convoy and a ZSU-23-4 is lighting you up. But for every other helicopter i can shoot the rockets as the pilot, just confused why the AH-64C is the exception. The AH-64D in the default game isn't like that, neither is the AH-1s in the mod itself isn't like that.- 1308 replies

I am also having a problem with WarCry. After we take the town, there is no counter attack. The BMP's (that are supposed to attack the city) were killed by the Bradley's in the beginning of the mission. Also, did you guys mean to give the gunner control over the unguided rockets in the AH-64? As the pilot, i can't shoot the rockets.- 1308 replies

anyone having a problem where at the end of Skirmish when you kill all the Russians and then get in the Black hawk for pick-up...it switches from "mission completed" to "mission failed" where you are the only one left and then the black hawk disappears along with your squad?- 1308 replies

Yes i agree. I've now started to play the campaign without ACE (But kept Mando Missile pack) and now it seems a lot better. I did notice the tanks were engaging tanks i didn't even see and when they got shot at and took critical damage automatically i felt bad not being able to help them, but now the tanks can actually stay in the fight and only engage enemies they can actually see, i don't know about the whole missions not ending part, but i'll check on that.- 1308 replies
