  1. @Myke Never again may I look upon another internetfolksman with disdain when he derps. I could have sworn I did it, and yet there were the .pbo files laying naked directly within the @DayZ folder, addons folder nowhere to be found. My apologies and thanks go out to you xD
  2. Right, so I bought the Amazon retail version of ArmA2 and ArmA2:OA==>ArmA2:COps Installed em into the same directory (/Program files/ArmA 2/) and added the @DayZ folder as normal to that directory. Run ArmA2:CO through the shortcut provided and see @DayZ on the right-hand-side of the menu screen. Select an MP DayZ server, connect and then I get disconnected, error msg: "You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.dayz_code etc." Halp :> Am I supposed to put the @DayZ mod files folder somewhere else?

I applied the MouseWarpOverride and DXGrab registry keys, xact was already installed, did the virtual desktop and set the capture mouse winecfg. With x3daudio, by override you mean select builtin->native? I'm currently using Wine-1.5.0 +rawinput +RawWarpPatch --without-xinput2, as suggested by the guys over at the porting team. Using Wine 1.5.1+rawinput that I built myself, the game kept the camera at the feet of the character, pivoting round and generally not working. In general, it works a bit better now (though that might also have something to do with my making the x/y movements more sensitive to mouse movement. Still searching for a real fix :(

Additionally, struggling to run the Combined Operations shortcut. I get this crash report: Unhandled exception: page fault on write access to 0x40624791 in 32-bit code (0x8f0977b6). 6. Got it! Thank you so much :) (it definitely wasn't in my ArmA 2 dir)
  7. But they're installed in the same directory... /Program Files/ArmA 2/ That's what the website told me to do -.- There's no shortcut :(
  8. Ok... put simply then: Which .exe should I run? Should I expect to see 'Combined Operations' printed on the menu screen or anything?
  9. I think I'm in the same situation as the above. I've bought ArmA2 and ArmA2 OA off Amazon. Can someone in simple terms explain how I can launch 'Combined Operations'?

    ARMA2/OA/CO/Demo/Free/TOH on WINE/Linux!

So uh, hi :) This thread was actually really useful for me, to learn how to build patched wine engines. I created 1.5.1-rawinput and put it in a Wineskin wrapper (google it), and ArmA II now works for me. I then switched to a rawinput engine from 'The Porting Team', for the extra patches. So it works on Mac, and it's pretty easy to get going. However, rawinput for me doesn't seem to work entirely. In the menu, the mouse will switch to the other side of the screen when it hits the other edge, which I guess is logical. But it doesn't work when in 3D mode... you just can't pan when the mouse gets to the edge of the screen. And the same happens vertically. So I have to go to the menu and reposition the mouse in the middle of the screen every now and then, to pan further in a direction. Anyone else experienced this? Know a *real* fix? Cheers :)
