That's it nothing major gameplay wise and that's what gaming is all about, it's hard to immerse in a chuggy game world Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well losing the hype is only natural when words like splendid are used all the time and the engine runs really slow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think the game runs terrible & always has, needs a brand new engine, 64 bit isn't going to change that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lol you sound like a paid game tester, this is why I wiped Arma off my ssd. It is a stuttery mess. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Agreed, and they can place the term 'splendid' back in the dictionary where it belongs, when in all fairness this 'future' nonsense is so unrealistic, this 'Final Fantasy 7' vibe sucks.

Disappointed with lack of Interactability on Tanoa
dav replied to daveallen10's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
I don't understand the logic creating a map that has so much heavy vegetation on such an engine. Now don't get me wrong the map is wonderful and of course I support BIS but I don't agree with the logic behind releasing a map that in itself is incredibly demanding. Now I personally play Arma 3 at 2x DSR in order for the visuals to look crisp so one could argue if I played at a lower resolution all would be fine but then it looks washed out and jaggy. I would have preferred a brand new desert map personally. Regarding the intractability I would rather that Bis built a few large structures that were intractable as opposed to multiple city like areas that are a system hog and not even enterable. I 'face palm' Tanoa due to its over indulgent nature within such an engine but I am enjoying it nevertheless. -

I play single player editor only since A2. This update for me is just absolutely amazing. Managing units aresnal, height and utilities is so much more fun. Thankyou for this fantastic update. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

What's with this 'taking a stance on changing operating system paranoia' all about? Just install it because you will at some point and no doubt singing it's praises when you use it, as opposed taking a nonsensical consumer paranoia persona, you should get over the reality and progression of Ms's software path, it's here and works fine. If people want to know what you do on your computer they can easily find out regardless of your version of Windows. Don't worry, your not the first person I have heard of that isn't budging. Let me guess, you are a horder but don't accept it and you can't let stuff go easily? You probably think your sensible and you probably are most of the time and fair play but get over your notions on this one as lost leader my friend. Don't get me started.Either way Arma 3 uses nearly 100% of my 2 970's and it runs terribly jumping from 24 to 60 depending on amount of units fighting. So until the devs write an engine where gunfire/vehicles doesn't effect frames then we are screwed. Dx12 as cool as it may be or Vulcan will not give us the community the 'fix' we need to truly enjoy the game and not just flirtating with it's potential. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
