    i think it is much better now. Killed 3 nato players at king of the hill today, with mx, 3-4 shots each at 200m distance, much more enjoyable now, ty BI.

    haha, because i was in same situation, playing with SoS, i was like: i'm going crazy, or are thus whistlers? Also don't suprise yourself hearing a trainhorn, when you want to use car horn ;) You can delete whislers and carhorns if you don't like. Or use j.s.r.s if you want hifidelity quality. Imo. Speed of sound - realism, j.s.r.s. - cinematic experience.

    enjoy Some multiplayer testing: joined some warfare linux server server, around 50 ppl were on, 60 fps at base, 40-50 fps at AO. Now changing video settings on server actually does something, gaining 5-10 fps, by reducing object quality. Strangely nearly all altis life server had 30 fps. Joined one with 50 man - 30 fps, joined another with 100 ppl, still 30 fps, but ofcourse it felt more laggy. On various full servers around 50 man, had usualy 40 fps not less on ultra.

    not to boar on this again, i say, if there would be jumping (still tend not having it), when units with only a pistol and uniform, without vests, rucks, other weapons could jump, - OK. Might even add posibilities for special operations. But as long unit has an automatic weapon, vest, ruck, there is no way he can jump at all. But this will require lots of unecessary work, to make something like that. There are really tons of other stuff to do and improve, like finally implementing bi-pods. From me thats a NO, but "i could live with it", if only gearless units are able to jump.

    like i said, i'm not. Yes, i might, no doubt, but you see? This is more of a useful critism, then saying: i don't want my man dying on battlefield. Even though, thats not enough, it is not something devs would see, unless they do read every post here. I agree, there is no limit for perfection, ofcourse there could be something new, usefull, better working. Im not claiming to be a military expert, but you are the leader, they are listening to you! On the battlefield, mid combat, people tend to act not adequate, freezing while being fire on, especially being at combat for first time, geting overagressive, forgeting to take cover, presetning theirselves for incoming enemy fire, ignoring squad leader commands and many more difficulties, similar to what we are having in arma with bots. Havn't you tought about that? never said you are, and i do respect people, making something useful for my fav game, no doubt. And once again, i must point on feedback tracker, that not a holy bible, but this is most useful thing, to point on devs, what YOU want to be changing, along adding links to your signature. Micro managing, i have no idea what you mean by this, care to explain, how do you imagine it and it should work?

    i might sound trolling, but are you new to ofp/arma series? Commanding AI was from ground on, one of most coolest and beloved features in series. It takes time, to get used to it no doubt, like everything in arma series, with its flaws, but when you figure out, how to command them, it is pretty enjoyable. It is something like chess, you move your figures at the desk. Tactical shooter, recuires tactical thinking, not just running with your small squad infront of enemy MG's, and then wondering, why everyone dies? Actually a buddy of mine, was always lone wolf, leting bots at spawnpoint, and going solo, while i was enjoying command my squad. Not long ago, he told me, he played some vietnam mod in arma 2, commanding bots, and was really impressed, how actually cool it is, (not without its flaws again). And since then, we are playing 2 squad missiong, where we are the leaders, and enjoying the experience. [fanboizm in] Arma is really a complex game, with lots of uniques features, overambitions like some say, and therefor, there must be it's weakpoints. Instead of polishing few features, it requiers to poilsh them all. Maybe BI has to cut at least half of everything, therefore improving the quality of every single feature. Maybe there is something else, no idea. But i have spend 600 hours, enjoying all it's various features, and i'm not even close to geting tired. [/fanboizm out]

    sound engine was kinda always the second thing for BI it seems, and i agree in a 2013 game, we are hoping to see something at least more advanced, but not necessary revolutionary. Hearing reverbarions, inside the buildings, forests or at a city, which all people got used from baby on, it's important part in game as well, where you can at least define, was the shot fired from a forest? Is a battle i hear infront of me in the city? Was someone shooting at me on the street, or from inside a house? Right now you can't define a shit, except open field battle. I believe, it was not added, to save cpu resources, since it's already limited on them, but isn't that a task for nearest future, when you optimize the engine further, to resolve some cpu limitations?

    jumping over a fence kneesize is already problematic with equipment. What for you need jumps then? Most fences are knee or underbelly size anyway.

    so saying 4gb ram are enough for arma is the bummer on x64 OS.
  24. played some scouting missions, came back equiped with katiba gp, csat helmet and rangefinder, after the rebel camp has been loaded, it spawned me with normal katiba, no helmet and rangefinder. Again some bugs with equipment. Also, why do same side missions appear, after you have already done them? I have completed drone missions, and stoped AAF convoy, returned back to base, and people at camp, speak about same missions again, and i'm getting objectives to redo them.
