  1. Hi all, I've been trying to get the P Drive to mount via the A3 tools but I seem unable to get it to work at all. Now, i've been trying to follow the advice given to me by BIS: However, I've gone through the preferences menu, selected settings and then gone to the P Drive tab, I've set it to a folder within the C Directory. I then go and press the mount P drive, it pops up the cmd window, then shuts shortly, without having actually mounted the P drive, even though it says it has completed it successfully. I try to even go to the P Drive via the tools but Windows says no. I'm running tools as Admin on Win 10 if that makes any difference. Am I missing something somewhere like copying everything to a work folder manually or something?     Ahh, maybe thats why as I'm only using the stable version of the BI Tools.
  3. That's good to know, was planning on doing something to add little bits of pipework to my model to make it a bit less bland.
  4.   5. Anyone know how to get the towing tractor to tow stuff or is it not possible at the moment?

  10. I don't think my bump map is working quite right, doesn't seem to be showing up in game or is it that I haven't set enough depth or something?     Out of interest, what you doing the nohq in software wise? (I think the nohq is the bump/normal map)

  13. After the tools failed, I ran DevP.bat manually from the a3 tools directory

I noticed this in the tools, but even thougth I run the tools exe as admin, I still have to go through the install directory to get the drive to mount correctly as it doesn't seem to call it right via the tools. Also, I've got the auto mount ticked but always have to mount it manually. Am I missing something somewhere? This is on Win10
  15. With smoothing on, it looked a lot better in game. Still need to try to get a normal map to work. Going to have go do some googling to see how to do it in gimp or paint.net.

  17. Never mind, seems you cant call containing folder the same thing as the model. I managed to get it in game, could probably do with some more poly's for close up.     It seems that theres more that's confirmed as not in at the moment rather then what is actually in. I'm starting to get worried about the quietness from BIS at the moment as it seems like we'll only get Tanoa and a small number of other assets.
  20. Thanks for getting back to me about this, i'll try and make some more lower poly LOD's to put into the model. Just need to figure out how to do decent textures now.     How come that VTOL almost reminds me of the C119 Flying boxcar? Maybe its an inspiration and that too had a gunship version as I recall.
