  1. Just found this thread .... insta follow, after East vs West mod died (and CSLA3 mod release data somewhere in infinity) I was hoping someone would pick up the OFP nostalgia. Good luck and god speed! The screens all look very sweet. PS/quick question: Are you guys going for simple OFP gameplay elements? Or would you adopt a more realistic approach to vehicles that were in OFP super-overpowered thanks to the 2001's way of implementing them by BIS? For example I like the RHS mods A-10A/SU-25 is indeed as it should be with (properly) limited sensors and launch warnings .... the CUP's current A-10C with blatantly eye-poking A-10A's interior and pure magic target searching is a bit ... well OFP-like "tab&space to kill all" :D. So easy to kill nostalgia with silliness ...
  2. Yes, W0lle responded that the signature will be fixed in next release in spring and put the correct signature name in the nightly builds ... which is you know ... GREAT :) I will check that nightly build and start pointing people towards that instead of V1.0.... .... updating server as well right now :)
  3. Actually since CWR2 was not updated for such a long time, I assumed that I am the one doing something wrong or why else would such a base signature problem was not fixed yet :). But in any case your advise was transformed to this : http://www.armaholic.com/forums.php?m=posts&id=174054 Maybe someone will reply from the team, but despite that, I would be eager if there is still a way how to workaround this "one file" signature check without disabling battleye completely.

Hello all, I am trying to start a small public server for my favorite CWR2 mod, here is work in progress: http://arma.networkgeekstuff.com However, I have a problem with the mod itself in that in the current version 1.0 I assume someone made a mistake and a signature file cwr2_data3d.pbo.cwr2.bisign is wrongly named as cwr2_data3d.cwr2.bisign (missing the pbo) part. On the community page I offer the file for download in correct name or telling people to rename it in their mod addons folder, but I expect this will hurt the people base that they cannot join server with vanilla CWR2 mod without beying kicked off by battleye. Does anyone know how to whitelist a file in battleye so that one particular file can fail signature check? While still checking all the other files? With regards, ZerXen

    East vs West (OFP inspired mod)

    Extremely pleased to find this mod as old OFP(1) fan I basically spent most of the time in CWR2 mod for ArmA2. Just one question to the author or people here, in the pictures I noticed Malden/Everon villages, are you guys planning to port also the (so far best remakes) of Everon/Malden from CWR2 mod or are you using only the Malden 2010/Everon 2014 islands. PS: Just asking because even with A3MP support moving the @CWR2 islands to arma3 has dependency/config issues so if these islands are to become part of any arma3 mod to port them, I just figured EvW looks like the right bunch of people interested in this.

With finally a little free time I dig up my last year effort and extended my XMAS domination mission collection for some new tweaks and most importantly a complete XMAS themed Winter Kolgujev domination mission with CWR2 mod (and it's fantastic winter units). It is just a little enjoyment that I put together for our (me + two friends) for our LAN server, but would like to share if maybe someone else will like it as well during the holidays ;) PS: I know that I am still using older Xeno's Domination 2.6 version, but is is right now scripted/tweaked by me to a point when I would not had the time to port it all to a higher version in time before holidays, but I think the feature below make up for it (and I manually scripted some of Xeno's higher version features manually myself like the optional avoidance of satchel charges only radio tower damage). Christmas/Winter centric features: Permanent SNOW FALL + FOG during the mission to have a deep atmosphere + in Malden also custom environment sounds, that is why the file is a bit bigger. All CWR2 infantry units are using Winter camouflage (see pictures below, great work from CWR2 mod team to release this) There are Christmas presents under a tree for your team, but be careful, if you fail to protect some girls in the base, you will loose the presents. Custom Christmas carol music in intro + if you enter the Christmas party house. Plus all the features that exist from the main project of my custom ArmA2 Domination Malden mission: CWR (Cold War Rearmed) Mod setting creating the best nostalgia atmosphere for the old Operation Flashpoint 1 from 2000 (now called ArmA: Cold War Crisis). Integrated zorilya’s Garrison Script 1.5.2 to have even better in buildings town battles. New selectable mission parameter allowing you to have choose if you want radio towers destroyable not only by satchels, but by anything. Enabling anything to destroy them hides their map marker so that at least you have to find them and not only point an artillery on them. New selectable mission parameter allowing you to have ArmA2 rifles available (including Javelin), by default it is off as this is still 1985 CWR2 and I want this mission to be primary still good old 1985 CWR2 and no any modern warfare toys playfield, but if someone wants to have some fun change, it is available for you. No Arrowhead weapons btw as desert skins are definitely out of touch with Malden. Created and added OFP/CWR2 soundtrack player to the “Status Dialogâ€, when activated the original OFP 16 track playlist is played in random order indefinitely to get the best OFP 1985 atmosphere in coop. (NOTE: Find “Music ONâ€/â€Music OFF†buttons in "show status" menu) REMARK: I advise to try first with the default mission parameters I set as defaults. Malden mission with start time during night, Kolgujev start during day. Also with main target illumination turned off by default to get the snow terrain of Kolgujev a chance to help you in the night.   8. Yes, that is what we are using, but the server we are using is one of our working laptops, so letting it just run for a week until we have time to finish the game is out of options. We can only force the notebook to go into sleep mode, but that renders the machine unusable until the next game. Any other suggestions? The save game functionality is built into Arma2 while hosting like a game directly as a player, I just need to access that via the console on dedicated server :(
  9. Hello guys, I am desperately trying to find a way to save a multiplayer game on a dedicated server to continue playing later. This is possible when you host a game on you PC, but this should be somehow accessible for a dedicated server as well, no ? Alternatively, is it possible to pause the multiplayer game simulation on a dedicated server? If no savegame is possible, I would at least like to make the server mission persistent, but then pause the game until I and other players can go back to the game later and find the game in the state that we have left. This is mainly for the Arma2 Warfare CTI missions related :) Any help appreciated.
