I've been having a lot of fun with the tank missions. Is there any word on vehicle sounds? If that were fixed, the few official missions would be pretty flawless. -

For instance' date=' if you were to have updates for SA/TP every month, you could accumulate those updates for six months before updating regular AiA with them. Maybe he's talking about having a conversion process applied automatically to AiA SA that, if the player has A2/OA installed, will automatically detect it and which files are usable from it, copying them over first before the rest of the AiA SA download starts? -

I use it primarily to play the bi made missions when I'm bored of other stuff. But I could handle waiting for better aia tp missions or even outright conversions if it means faster work on cup. What about a long term release schedule for it, that allows for the many more incrimental updates to tp and Stand alone in between? -
From my point of view, it's the other way around. If I support a modder with money, it's not because I expect anything in return, or expect to see the work progress increase because of it. Instead, I donate to those who are doing what they love, and doing it so well, they deserve to get paid for it. If I give a modder money, it's not to finish the mod they're working on, but to make sure they find additional worth in investing their time into making this game better for me.

If you dePBO the mission, you'll find what you're looking for in the config files. I'll try to remember to post which one specifically when I get home. Just swap out or add the class names you need. UAVs should be included already. If not, use either sari' or zerty's edits. -

Personally, I'd prefer Toadie make every plain ole weapon imaginable. Not because we need more, or that his will be better. But because his animation work contributions to the community are invaluable. Plain boring weapons and high end specialist weapons will all improve because of it. -

I never checked to confirm if this fix solved the issue. I did notice that there were some gates that were normal and some that were rotated, pre-hotfix. So I'm assuming there's more than one gate model used on the A1 terrains. -
Forgot to post this here. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=313818405&searchtext=BEcti For those doing script changes, in this edit using sari's mission as a template, I have finished factories spawning in single prebuilt bases. Commander is disabled, and all upgrades finished with all vehicles being spawned at the same staging ground in base. Action menu stuff has been disabled aside from equipment and options. Must use action menu on physical factory to access buy menu. Edits are kinda dirty atm and there's a few errors that sari showed me that need fixed. I plan on updating an adding many more like it.

No idea if this has been mentioned before. Just dropping through before bed. Noticed tonight when using TPW for the first time in a while that when I try combat pace movement, I can't move and the animation gets stuck. Doesn't require rifle, just hitting X will essentially pause the pose I was in. Just spent 10 mins starting and restarting to figure out the culprit, grr. When I remove animspeed.pbo, issue disappears.- 5767 replies

Keep in mind, aia Sara doesn't have mid range textures, while smd Sara does. That alone makes a big difference. You'd be able to see this difference without a3mp, by just using aia for smd Sara's dependencies. -

With latest update, game settings no longer save in any form after being edited (crashes, all reported through the auto report tool). It also doesn't carry over the settings, meaning that any game that isn't installed in the default location isn't detected at all. Was currently at 9 games installed. Now at 1, since Arma 3 is the only one on my C drive. -

By all appearances, this mod is no longer supported. The bootcamp update required all weapons/vehicles with weapons mod devs to update their config files to coincide with changes they made to how the engine handles weapon sounds. This mod hasn't been updated since 04-26-2013, which is long, long before the bootcamp update. -

It's all about tactile feedback. Just because I'm smashing buttons in the dark doesn't mean that the button I'm smashing is the one I want. But if I hear anything audible signifying it, I know without a doubt whether I pushed the right one or not.
