    Hi all there is an early beta available now for sangin for all the guys that applied either go to our forums or check ur emails for the link all feedback welcome there is a lot to do still and with the tools still not behaving for me, its still beta at this moment but gives us another terrain to play with

    20k is the accepted limit for models you can go over but you would need to proxy in the extra polys.

    AI can see through vegetation not any more i added the viewblocks to the .p3d's that needed them

If any one is interested in how a terrain takes shape and forms over time ill put a few vids and pics up to show how much it changes over time as it gets built here is the first when M1lkm8n first was testing terrain size it just has a make do satimage texture but you can scope the scale of how big it is it has more land mass than altis as we have no see round our terrain

    We are in the process of converting a2\oa models to a3 standards for both projects Sangin\Jalalabad at the moment to stop the a2 walls falling over and we have upgraded all oa buildings and veg, so far putting view blocks\pysx\penetration on plants and bushes and buildings that did not have proper ones this takes time so be patient as its a3 standards we are aiming for no errors for the rpt.we have gone the whole nine to have an independent mod pack to go with our future terrains so you won't need 5gig downloads to play our terrains. The new tools are very unstable and have misaligned my objects on my terrains after the latest terrain builder update there all messed up so will take a while to fix or find a way to fix it all again in one go so it will be done when i find a fix.

    Hi all I have got this problem now DX11 error : CreateBuffer failed : DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED DX11 - device removed - reason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG DX11 error : CreateBuffer failed : DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED DX11 - device removed - reason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG After the latest ati driver update i done 2 weeks ago i have not been able to play a3 anymore with out this error occurring every time i try to play, it will do it in the editor preview with no ai or any thing placed or does it in a mission after a minute or 2 will also crash in window mode. I have uninstalled the drivers cleaned them out and gone back to the old driver that has been fine running a3 and it still crashes,so i checked game integrity and even installed the game again still crashes so i thought maybe dx is the problem so i run dxdiag and it sees no problems so i tried to reinstall dx and it says that i have the latest version which stops me installing it again. next step was a full os install and game install again with the original working drivers still crashed,i then pulled out my gfx cards and swapped them round in crossfire and still crashed went to one card and also turned off crossfire still crashed, thought then maybe 7 was being a dick so upgraded to win 8.1 installed the old working ati driver again with a fresh a3 install and still it crashes so im at a loss of what to do now anyone have any thing i can try, my psu is 850watt with 85amps has been able to run a3 for the last year with no problems so think that is ok also its not only me a few lads have also had issues with nvidia cards after the update crashing with similar errors.

    (can you drive vehicles into the c-17 and leave them whilst flying or will this destroy the plane.) you could in a2 but in a3 the phsx is messing it up a2 vehicles will drive in it but the a3 vehicles and phsx won't till it gets a phsx lod on the c17 and gets fixed
  23. hi all i see some of you guys have got A3 stuff sorted for the p drive ive tried but failed with the 58 model error we don't have a sticky yet so lets get one done if we can please. can we get some info for how to set up p drive please so we all know off the bat i use arma2ptool in a2 for my p drive setup but am a bit stumped on the a3 setup as there is no tool out like the arma2ptool yet. I have unpboed all a3 pbo's to my p drive i have set a folder called a3 and put the folders in there that i have un pboed, i haven't seen a core folder like a2 when looking so don't know were to get the shaders and bin and such so cant get the models showing in bulldozer. Could one of you guys that have sorted it please fill us in on how its done please the complete setup on what and how you have got models and bulldozer working with a2 exe or even a a3 setup with a3.exe working with the a3 goodness cheers SmokeDog
