People doesn't like realism in games most of the time.

Yeah, this game has it shortcomings. No question about that! But, the movement "controls" isn't the biggest problem imo. Bugs, AI, strange game mechanics, engine optimizing and so on. Still, I play and love this game a lot! :)

I would say that you should wait a while and then switch platform (slot).

Great Warfare mod Gossamer! Is there any way to increase the Town Defense Range? Hate when they just "pop up" on you. Anyway, nice work!

My trees got scanlines and white dots. I know that the white dots are well known, but what about scanlines? (I haven't messed around with my catalyst settings. Will try that first, then if the problem persists take some screens.)

Here you go! Anyway, I prefer smooth and functional graphics over flashy. The current engine (Arma II: OA) doesn't have flashy graphics with a lot of eye candy. BUT it doesn't run super smooth either. :( But the gameplay is so good that I can't sleep. And the community with all the good mods with frequent updates keep me busy. All improvements are good improvements. The name of the engine isn't important.

Just wondering if LOD switching is normal when standing (approx) 50 meters from a tree zooming in and out? I've probably tried everything: Video memory (all presets), -Maxmem, CPU count, Ramdisk, Beta patches, mods, defrag :) and other graphical settings in-game. Running latest drivers and standard settings in Catalyst.

Can't wait for an update! This is the best mod for Arma 2 imo. :) So, thanks and keep up the good work!
