  1. Would you recommend turning off ST Movement? I've yet to notice any bugs.
  2. How is this mod not compatible with ST movement? Ive been running them alongside each other this whole time without problem.

  4. True that! My biggest hope now is for the mod to be very friendly with AI and coop. I constantly see the AI doing combat rolls, looking like action heroes, and what's worse is that if you kill them in the roll, they don't die until they stop rolling, stand up, and then fall down. If there's any way to have a death animation for when killed in a combat roll that'd be hilarious and awesome. Like they can finish the roll but at the end of it they just lay out dead. Another bug is after they roll, they sort of get stuck in a animation and glide for a couple of feet. It looks very off. Also, the AI often tend to shoot their guns at the ground while running. Should I submit these as tickets?
  5. Excellent news! I'm pretty sure the dev's for ACE are taking a close look in this mod and may even incorporate it into ACE, which I think would be a fantastic idea.
  6. Great work guys. I hope you realize that this is one of the biggest game changers in Arma modding history. It's really amazing watching what you guys are doing with the game.
  7. Code I noticed done major problems after switching clothes. One is that points are unlimited and you can keep giving them. Eventually you have negative points to give Second was that after switching back the groups were all messed up. Squad leaders changed. Third was after switching back I could not recruit AI. I was a colonel rank too.

  9. haha! It's fine they're just little things I've either mentioned before or crazy ideas I had for the future :) Dev-heaven really is a good way to track everything though, and I figure the more ideas the better!

  13. Shame to hear that. ACE is the mod my group always plays with so I guess we'll have to look for other missions. If you do, in the future, want to fix the problem with satchels you should talk with code34 because he was able to fix it for his mission, War in Takistan Good luck, hope you do support ACE a bit more in the future as it's a very great mod and used by many.

A few things: Still getting this error randomly on startup: http://grab.by/a3As Also for a suggestion in a future release: Could you add support for dragging mods and missions to reorder them instead of using the "Up" and "Down" buttons? Also, refreshing the mod or mission lists unchecks all mods previously checked. Any way you could keep those checked? Good work! This tool is a life saver for people who want to quickly run a server from home.
  16. A suggestion. Not sure if you have a Dev Heaven setup for this project (that would make it easier for people to report bugs and easier for you to track them) When playing with a small group, sometimes we'll lose our transportation after arriving at the objective. If there's anyway the top 3 ranking members could call for an AI helicopter evac that would be perfect. We've found ourselves stranded multiple times out in the middle of no where due to reinforcments coming in from behind and blowing up whatever vehicles we took to get there (humvees, blackhawks) If you could somehow make it so a radio support call could be made for an AI pilot to fly in an Evac Blackhawk that would cool.
  17. Good to hear. I think there's a ticket already in the DH that I put about AI becoming stuck in Sniper Stance, but lately I've noticed some other weird issues they're having. Once a bunch of enemy AI charging toward me did a lot of combat rolls then they slid across the ground in a sniper stance towards my position. It looked very funky. Then another time I noticed AI that were dead but just standing in place. Not sure if this has to do with new death animations. Should I make a ticket for this too?
  18. Haha thanks Smookie. I'll test it out, see how it feels. Maybe in the future have it as a variable that can be changed either by the server or client side?
  19. Regarding the Slide animation. It feels a bit unnatural. It should at least carry some momentum of the run, maybe by sliding you forward 2-3 feet? The animation looks great already, I just think it should move you forward while doing it. EDIT: Just did a search and saw that this issue has been brought up before. I still think that the slide should at least push you forward somewhat, it seems like you just stop and slide in place.
  20. I was going to get a good one with the team playing tonight but we never got around to firing Arma up. I'll try to get one more grouped up later. And by "more realist" do you mean without the stylizing?
  21. Smookie, just wanted to say OMG THIS IS AMAZING. So amazing that I'm forcing my small team to to start playing with it IMMEDIATELY. You know of any issues with ACE with this mod?   24. Hi Code34! First off, THANKS. You've made the mission I've been wanting for so long. A mission that actually encourages teamwork. The small group I play with had a run at it last night and had a blast. Each mission felt like a spec ops "get in, get out" type and we played better than we ever had before. Amazing work, on all levels. It was also nice to see you asking for so much feedback on the forums. Also, thank you for supporting ACE. I know you don't care to use it yourself, but our group loves ACE and it's hard finding mission makers who will continue to make version for it. Again, I thank you. Ok now some bugs and questions: (note: these are all ACE version questions) 1. Disarming IED's at the training facility brings up no numbers, it just says "GO..SUCCESS" really fast and nothing happens. And yes, I was playing as the Engineer. 2. No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons.qsz92' error on start-up. Screenshot You can click 'Continue' on it and everything seems fine, just wanted to let you know. 3. Do you need help making a better English Manual? I'd love to help if you want it. 4. I'll get you a good loading screen whenever we play tonight. I'll try to get a shot of the group doing something together, since this mission emphasizes teamwork. 5. Suggestion: Think you could add an option to purchase vehicles and weapons that are limited by ranks (like the AI recruiter) This way you could buy a AH-64 if your of a certain rank or a M1A1. Of course this would need it's own area, which comes to my next suggestion: 6. Can you expand onto the base and create an area that you can park extra vehicles and aircraft recovered from missions? After we recovered the AH64 on a mission, we had to park it at the "Service Point" at base since there was a no room for it. If this helps, in the spoiler tag is the mod-list we run with:
