arent you an Atheïst? :D anyways: if people would react this way because other life forms do exist then they arent really a believer or a folower of god is it? people that just tend to follow the others because it might look good hah, they have a word for this ;) if other life forms twists the beleaves of ones mans/momans beleaves then we can be better all atheïsts ... I have my own goddes i beleave in her :D outer life forms? maybe, who knows? i tend to beleave what i can see not what i can't see, and i'm pretty much not going to be bound on something that others say about it. I love the movies :cool: edit: and a other thing, come to think off it, maybe there is an outher life form! but they try to keep away from us ... maybe it is not like in the movies that they gonna eat us or what ever twisted minded scenario you can put allong with outher life forms. maybe they did observed us over all those years so far! and you know what!? we can bet they say keep away from them! they or kill! or try and want to domminate everything they descover! hehehe. its a fact that we most sertain will do that! if there is other life that the MAN will try to investigate after investigating they will aprouch it and try to take advantege of it even domminate it, like we always did and will do ;-) look up on the world with those eyes and take it for a fact were not that nice! regards

take your time im not in a hurry ;-) i still try stuff out anyways, it holds a read me edditors plans, i don't know if all the things i want to make happen can be don, will see im now building the hostage sites and the guard postes, only preperations that kind of things to develop the mission further i tend to put on the random patrols so i can adabt further building on them ... -

i will see how i can upload it so you can take a look, i only want it don right, so after releasing no one has bugs or problems with the mission ... I rather take a little longer to make it then release it without propper functionallety if you know what i mean ... because this is kinda off topic: i will go in the mission folder and cut out the JR SMAW and the treu users ironsight so you only need to mind the units and the helo and RH guns ;-) i will add a readme so you know exact wich addons i used to make the insertion part and the crash part. take in mind: that the insertion is build with radio communication in mind, you will see a escort shopper called Guardian he will sircle the LZ before the insertion shopper will land, Guardian will give (voice acting) clearance for landing on a sertain point thats why the insertion shopper comes in slow. (the voice acting is not in there yet but you can use some imagination there :p) also the enviorment is not totally how i want it i want that foggy kind of mist like in operation stalsky, it is winter and cold! so i want to create that feeling ... after insertion the shopper will take a sharp turn and line up on the right side behind Guardian over the woods where it will be shot down, i tested it a couple of times and it looks great so far, but there might still be a problem if you give your team a get out order to fast. It happens not a lot but on some points where you disembark and the shopper takes off to RTB the AA script acts a bit weard, or the AA wont fire or it fires to far and the explosion comes way behind the missile hitted the shopper. but like i said it only happened a few times so far, maybe if you encounter it you can tweak it i don't know, i moved the triggers that way so the hit would line up with the exlosion of the tail rotor just exact like it has to be, i spend a lot of time on this little part to make it happen (thanks to you and your script ^^) Chaoswip megaupload i hope this works ;-) Chaoswip rapidshare new upload link regards -

where can i upload the edditor misson? so you can take a look at it? I did not use your unload script because it does not work when the player is the team leader, only when you are been leaded by an AI TL. anyways i will need to go for the backup plan and go for the spawn new set of pilots ... so far it think i made the shopper travle like i wanted and the script works pretty nice. i had to work on it for a couple of hours to get it like i wanted it ... i only need to add a escort shopper to it ... i want to thank you for your help again so far, i have to be honnest that i'm glad that it works but i readed the script a couple of times and also went to the site but i really don't understand how it is don :( i wish i was a bit smarter i guess ^^ anyways: if you want to take a look at what i did so far, you will need a couple of addons to make it work addhelos RH AK PACK RH M4 PACK TF US NAVY SEALS CHECH REBEL ARMY regards -
Buy a other phone :p well i was watching some episodes again from BoB ;) its still keeps me hooked on the tube when i see them, even when i know the storry. if i get at least the same effect on the pasific i will deffenetly buy it Ohw yeah and those people are saying chame on them that they let them kids watching that crap LoL :rolleyes: regards

sorry but you can't define it to be the poloticians foult that people are sitting before the tube like 24 hours a day, they have a mind for them selves. Although i find politics lately a joke for the intier world some things are just miss treatened by the end user it selves. I can sit before the tube and stuff my self with candy or, I can Go out side jog, take a walk in the park, or do something with my family. but there will always be people that are sitting before the tube all day! You can blame a lot of things on politicians but this lol common now ... So the guy next to me is stuffing hes stommage with nasty food sitting for the tube "yeah" the prime minister did it! hes stuffing him selves hes sitting before the tube the intier dam day, its like when your adicted to Arma II and say BI did it because they made a cool game :D and there goal was to make ones life misareble without it :confused: sorry i can't aggree on pointing fingers towards politics AGAIN ... that television is not giving a good example on a lot of things i want to aggree on that, but don't blame politics for it! the people deside for there own to watch or dont watch the rubische on the tube :rolleyes: regards.

Ok ill look in to that tonight after work. i can change it to my squad names yes? Or do i need to change something in that script if i want that ... So i don't use that or do i need to use it? maybe i can just copy and past whole the thing and add the missile and crash script after it and see what happens .. is there a reason why it wont land? because a standard loaded crew shopper does land and a empty crewed shopper wont? omg all this for an insertion and a crashing shopper :D AZCoder ;-) you know your stuff, thanks for the advice so far, the scripts are working perfect! except of the landing and disembarking failure, if i can make that work perfect tonight, ill see what i can do with the crash site after that so it will crach for surtain in the woods or surrounding area. the thing with it is the pilot crashes sometimes over waters and thats the last spot where i want it to crash, your right on the fact that it will be unpredictable! but i don't want the shopper to crash in the water or on the players side of insertion, and sometimes its like you say the piliot is NUTS :D i hope i can tone it a little bit so it ceeps in a sertain area ... Ill keep testing it till it is don like a some how want it .... Edit: extra info, although if it does not work i want to think a step further, i mean if i can't make it to work like you pointed it out, is it possible to use a standard loaded shopper and trigger 2 survived pilots else where after chrashing the shopper? the plan is that they will be captured and holded on 3 possible spots in the area off kraznostav, the player needs to find them and resceu them after searching the crash site ... Maybe this option is a little easyer? regards -
I gave up on tv to, but i'm not living in america, i'm from belgium. the reason why i gave up on it is because it is stupid money and i dont wana pay for commercials eather, the movies i can buy them and watch them where ever and when ever i want if i own them. Like Darkhorse 1-6 said already, my PC is like a TV station and a Music station, also i play a game on it read the paper online watch a DVD anything of entertainment is provided on a PC and over the internet .... I have no need to pay for cable television, there for it is stupid money that i can safe up for other stuff. For my daugther i have like an antenna for the regular stations that you can pick off out of the air, and a dvd set for her to watch kids movies out of that the TV is almost off all the time ... Darkhorse 1-6, Band of Brothers huh ;-) nice the same thing here btw a little off topic i'm planning to get The Pacific how is that serie? you can answer that on PM if you want. regards

it really does not work when i do a movinDriver it is not following the waypoint pad, i don't know why, but for some reason it wont :( the same pad works when i use a preformated shopper with the crew already asigned by the game ... to make it simple when i plan the waypoint order insertion lift off the shopper turns in a nice sharp turn to the trigger the shoppers tail is out and spins it still crashes because it happens above wood "i want it that way, but i want the pilot and 1 gunner to be alive. to do that i need to asign the pilots in a empty shopper but then the same waypoint order is not followed the shopper aims for nothing first its like he wants to but then it slows down and diverts to somewhere else .... anyways: for the shopper pilot i do the same? in a other sqf folder? edit: now i made the chopper move towards hes waypoints but now he does not execute the waypoint order transport unload, he defines the waypoint as a move trigger when reached he moves on to the next waypoint, the pilot needs to execute that waypoint order can i solve this problem? also after the rotor is hit can i make sure that the shopper will go down on a spisific spot like on a bit of a open spot so it will go down on the same spot every time.? lol i went trough whole the Thread to be sure that i know what this is all about :D anyways: It is not because they have over 50 years of counter-insurgensy and anti-terrorist experiance that they have to be involved, on the other hand they can give advice to the ones that are involved :cool: Why is it when a country have some unrest in diplomatic relations that it would be a imidiate reason not to participate? can it not just be so that they would think about other things like internal situations that are far more important to attend to? Why would it speed up? because of more assets? now sorry did this country not had a huge flooding past august and i pretty much beleave we did some calls to put money in the bucket to help those people. the goverment of india asked help on this and if they would put there assets in helping the war on terrorism then it would make me pretty much offended! Advantages they can provide their knoledge without putting assets in the ones already involved have their own they don't need indian intellegence and sources to do that these guys need to help their own people by going out there to help and rebuild there own country and help those people that are suffering My opinion on indian's goverment when not getting involved and helping there own people tumbs up if they don't thumbs down as for better ways: i don't think this is a war that is fought like a regular war, this is more like a guerilla kind of warfare and the US had already hes experiance in this kind of warfare back in the time of vietnam and you know what happened there, because the way it was fought ... you should see the movie about tzun tzu a lot of what happened in vietnam was readable in the text of that man, if i see to the events in pakistan against the taliban i see not much differance it is abovious not the US not any united force can bring down the taliban because this war is fought just the way the taliban wants to fight it! even the pakistany goverment wants to make peace with the taliban and they already asked the US to decrease hostile actions arround sivillian ereas where they think the taliban is active ... the taliban is in fact not fighting this war in afganistan, this war is fought everywhere and surly on your own soil you can't overwin them on a fixed spot plain and simple kill them over in pakistan wont stop them. every stratigic analist can put here what he wan'ts but he or she will be wrong! predict the outcome of the war? give better advice ... NON NewsFlash the war is LOST on both sides noboddy will win nothing! and you know why? because it is already written, this war is fought on wrong terms and with wrong reasons on both sides ... hmmmm, history will repeat again if not on Korea soil then it will be else where, the world is on a big scale of financial disorder whole over the globe, people are not happy anymore on a mass scale!! leaders dont learn! they will never learn, i'm not for any kind of war anywhere but sometimes, lives will be lost blood will be poured into the earth where we breath on, but in the event of a war where life will perishe in to nothing the ones that lives the war will cherische life.

i have to aggree on the on this units look great and if you continued to work on them you might want to remove the Ace II dependancy, not that AceII is not a good mod but i play arma II and OA with my own combination mod without changes to the game play like ai and such ... edit btw Icebreakr a little of topic but i love your lingor ise ;-) this will give a good scenery for like navy seal druglord take outs like in columbia and such things -

hmmm coop or no coop? if the goal is to bring a whole convention of the orgiginal OFP gameplau and campaigns to Arma II i don't think COOP is the way to go. there are several mission in the campaigns that are not possible to coop if they make them coop then they need to cut them out and then the campaign is not original anymore. those missions are constructive to what the whole story/campaign brings and if i read correct what this MOD team will bring us then it is a whole OFP port to Arma II in the most original possible way that can be. NO COOP keep the campaigns in tact pretty pleaze ;) regards- 1308 replies

Harvest Red not working well with OA?

for some reason the cutscenes are not working well everything comes in slowmotion like when entering the warehouse patch walks in there in time but miles is not and hes telling us to calm down :p, also when lopotev executes miles he is not in the hanger where he is suposed to be, miles walkes in guided by hes guard after hes been shot! scary suff ^^ , although it is irritating i would not say that it is the worst. several missions not working like they suposed to but so far i managed to work arround it but the mission on FOB manhattan is totally off track! for example: if a capture that girl and drive to extraction the shopper engages the hidden camp and does not come for extraction, also the radio conversation betwean Shaftoe and cooper are off track it seems cooper only speaks in text of the side chat but you wont hear him say anything. Also if i encounter the girl in the red car from pusta then i don''t see the doctor i think they need to look at this because so now and then i like to replay the former campaign .. i have plenty of examples the cutscenes the ones with the heave scripting are not working i guess, when the next mission after FOB manhatten begins the one that comes out of the tent begins to speak he walks out verry slow and the conversation just keeps going Shaftoe begins to brief us and hes not even there :s lol ... anyway because of this reason i wanted to know that it was because of the update or maybe my addons and i reinstalled the game withoud OA, updated it to 1.05 and everything workes fine, i installed arowhead and the updates delivered i don't think i saw a problem here, putted BAF DLC on it updated and again the same problem campaign is off track again it hink it will work fine only with OA but it might be go wrong on the last patch or the one before ... would be nice if others test it to so they can take it up to the next patch or maybe the one after ... regards -

the only mod i use: trsm tracked and weeled viacules vops sounds and the RH heli sounds i also use ShackTac Movement by Rg I stoped using any mods also addons are cutted out ACE II is out now the massis units are out the chech rebels and the RH weapon pack not that i did not liked any of them but if there is a mod problem then i cutted out the chanse that there is a problem with them ... i also tryed without any sound mods and so on and i keep having the same problem so i realy dont know whats going on :( it keeps me bussy and lately i have the urge to trow with something so now and then but i keep it cool for now :D audacity is a little tool, you can convert mpr wave etc to ogg and so on you can also edit the tracks to make it sound older or trim the music before you convert it, but i did not do that i kept the tracks i converted original like they where in mp3 and converted them to ogg with that tool, i don't think its because of the tool i tried a other one to and i have the same problem. i tend to use the sounds to play as music its music from my original CD's on all the music i have from Hans zimmer i tried several ones also i tried other music to, i thought maybe its the kind of music and that i could not use it, so i tried some rock and pop just for a try and see if it was better, but sadly the same problem there, maybe i doing something wrong with the description exp i don't know, like i folow the step by step guide it should work just fine... regards
