    Haha bad habit. You can access the inventory just with your Inventory key ;)Yes eject and get out should be in the list too. I use the same keys as en3x.

You know the problem with two close doors or door and a ladder problem, when you're watching a door you actually climb a ladder or open the door that you're. That's one big problem. You know and ( ) actually solved that problem and improved the get in vehicle so you look where in the vehicle you want to get and not just scroll through the menu. Good videos to remind you what needs to be done.
  3. Couple keys that you need to add in the game so we can get rid off some things in the action menu. Some things people likely want to keep in the action menu and some don't so options fr these would be nice: - Re-arm (I actually never even use this) - Collision lights - Touch off bombs(s) - Take controls - Artillery computer - Open UAV terminal But will there be some option that we could see an action in the action menu even if it has assigned key for it? Some of the things could be good to have both maybe especially for new players or if you're now first time assigning some keys and you forgot where you had assigned them. Also we need explosives to be same like the weapons or grenades. They should either appear in the weapon info just like grenades except in a different category. Press key and you plant explosive you have chosen. Or hey should work like weapons so you switch to them and you've it in your hands. Press fire and you place the explosive on the ground.
  4. There's icon showing so press when you can see the inventory (or is it rearm?) icon. Sometimes get in icons can block it but it's pretty obvious if you can access the vehicle inventory from that spot. Usually from the front of the vehicle you can't but you can from the sides or back.

    Yes. Likely some people can like it but I know I'm not the only person that doesn't like it. There was ticket about it in the feedback tracker. Pause key toggles it on/off. Also now I remembered another reason I want video option for it. If you use Community Based Addons that key doesn't toggle the effect off. I don't know why but the conflict is there and CBA is used pretty much everywhere. That key also removes the Development Build indicator from the lower right corner. Here's a video about it if someone doesn't know what I'm talking about: Naturally some compression so it isn't 100% accurate but it's really that obvious.

    Yes it's clear as a day in those. Also look in full screen because the background of your screen does tone it down. It really looks bad. Once you see it you can't unsee it even in the daytime.

    BIS now that you're doing this visual improvement could we finally get an option to toggle the vignette effect off? I know there's a keyboard shortcut but I don't want to press it every time mission changes.

    New lighting for CUP terrains

    Sorry to say but this looks pretty bad in Chernarus without much clouds. Way too bright. Seems like more than quick dirty config tweak is needed for that at least. I can get the default one look good but this I can't even a lot of settings tweaking. Takistan looks nice and I can use the same settings as in Stratis.

    Something isn't right when I need to adjust the video color settings a lot so something like Chernarus looks good because the settings that I had for Stratis didn't look good in Chernarus. Startis by default looks very bright and colorful so I have to tone it down and when I had the Stratis settings in Chernarus, the Chernarus looked pretty dull and there was this gray tint. I first thought it was fog but it wasn't. Tweaking the color settings helped nicely. I guess Island modders got a lot of to do later.

    RAM Management - Serious Question

    I now just upgraded my RAM so I've 16GB of it. I disabled page file and seems like I've now enough memory to play this game without it. I get now more memory usage but my total memory usage was 6,8GB (I had Steam and Discord open) when I had flew around the Altis couple times and played maybe an hour. It got pretty soon to that ~6GB but it didn't really increase a lot from there. My starting memory was 2,5GB so Arma 3 used around 4,3GB of RAM. I guess there's something else used somewhere else when you can't play Arma without page file with 8GB of RAM or you get "out of memory" issues and crashes. I didn't get any stutter like you've been saying. Actually my map texture loading felt better.I don't actually remember getting that smooth performance with high view distances but I need to double check that later. Here are some pictures from the test. I literally flew around the Altis 3 times and played couple time Altis Benchmark: If you're monitoring that MSI Afterburner Page File usage, it showed ~10GB but I don't believe that's actually indicating anything really. You can see my rig in my signature.

    Weapon Switching on the Move

    When you're standing still or sitting on something it's nice but I'm still not convinced moving, especially running, when you've rifle hanging in front of you. There are just so many things that can go wrong. Fall or something and you easily fuck up either your weapon or your mouth or maybe even some other part of your body. You can easily dip the pipe in something just for example. Though there's some options for that. If you're not allowed to jog/run/sprint or be in any other stance than standing up, you're forced to put the weapon on back, if you try to do any of those things. Then I can see this working.

    - I believe they have bit different effect. That's how I felt when I played with those. At least the other one has wide range when the other one is more for fine tuning.
  14. It has likely something to do with Workshop mods if you've subscribed any. Check if any of them is stuck in updating or synchronization.

  16. Why shadow distance setting has that big effect on rock shadow? Increasing shadow distance actually removes any shadowing from them.

  18. So Game Updater throws this stuff if I try to get Legacy or RC branch downloaded. Main and Development branches that don't require password works fine. I've tried both main and dev branch of Arma 3 Tools. Yes I've applied the correct passwords in the password field, disabled AV just in case and tried multiple times. Some problem with the Steam currently because it times out for password check? I used this without a problem in two previous main branch update staging (1.52 and 1.54) so the problem shouldn't be in my end.     Launcher crashing

    Any idea what could be wrong with my friend's launcher because it never launches with Windows 10? He tested it with Win8 and it worked there and then tried again fresh install of Win10 and still not launching. He needs to use -noLauncher to launch the game. No crash logs generated because it never really launch and the logs stop in very early stage. If any of the helping dev is in the Discord the check zage's messsage in troubleshoot channel.

  24. OK I restarted my computer and the main branch doesn't work :D Before restart it actually threw the same error message but it still downloaded the files. Now it didn't. Need to test the dev-branch again and computer restart. ///// I found the thing! If I use the Arma 3 tools launcher or whatever it's where you can choose the tools it doesn't work. When I launch the Game Updater directly from the .exe it works. That's why the -debug one started to work suddenly and that's why i got it suddenly work in the main branch also. That's also the reason why it didn't work first with the dev-branch. So it works only directly from the .exe. Launching through Arma 3 Tools from Steam and it doesn't work.
