KetsuCorp, I believe it's been broken since a prior upgrade, and that faces, voices and patches are no longer visible within the Virtual Armoury. I stripped back to Vanilla last night, and nothing appeared in the VA.. I'm running the latest beta for 1.50 as well. So the good news is it's not your mod !! I can still get the patches to show in the game, by adding it to the unit Init. ;) -

Ive been unable to use the custom faces/armpatches, I will disable all my other mods and try and find the culprit I'm not running many, but there's obviously one that's causing a conflict, thanks for your prompt answer and support, looking forwards to your SEAL pack though -

Hi guys, Just curious to see if anyone else has had the issue when you move a player left or right during free fall, they die? The player is fine under canopy, or if I don't make any movements during free fall. Also my keystrokes seem screwed up, according to my settings, the number 8 on the keypad should be "tactical formations" however, when I press 8 after highlighting all the team, it gives me something that looks like it's to do with Grenade Throwing. Any help greatfully appreciated guys thanks

another great update!! Is there any reason why my player keeps dying in free fall if I try to slow down the fall, or to turn left or right?

Would I be right then in presuming that it's just the player himself that needs to kit up, and be checked, and that whatever happens to him, is carried over to the AI? If you have the time, would you consider a mini tutorial for the simpletons like myself? :D

How do you make AI team members use the HALO/Para jump module sir? This is a great add on but lacks a decent tutorial to get the full benefits. I've just transitioned from ARMA2 to ARMA3 and this is one of the first mods I've downloaded, and it's very impressive indeed, well done.

Good day gents, Just bought myself a new PC and reinstalled ARMA2 (from steam backup) and now all my AI choppers suddenly take off on their own/and keep spiralling and don't follow any waypoints. I disabled all mods and even vanilla missions, the AI Chopper gets airborne and then spirals away off the map. Short of downloading the whole series again over a 56K modem speed, has anyone encountered this issue before?

Good Day to you Mirek, I have since discovered it was a conflicting mod, by removing everything, and restoring the game from the back ups, and then going through my 20GB worth of mods.. So far all is good, I've got about another 10GB's worth to check, nothing wrong with the scripts mentioned, they work fine in the sample missions... now it's a case of finding the offending devil!! Thanks for your help though, it's very much appreciated ;) -

You could be right about the broken script, as I've update the game 2-3 times as I'm in the steam beta updates, and it could have broken the script, I will give your method a wee try and see what happens and get back to you, many many thanks for responding as well sir. ---------- Post added at 11:54 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:43 AM ---------- Okay, Mirek, Vanilla game, stock chopper (UH60) giving it a flight pattern of a 2 Km box it spirals out of control and doesn't follow any waypoints, replace it with the MH6 and it's fine. Even created a new profile where there are no saved games or missions the off thing as well that even in the splash video for the menu, the UH-1 is seen flying and spiraling out of control.. I have a feeling I might have an issue with one of the air.pbo's and have to download the whole series again :( -

Mirek, When I open up the editor, on old missions I created, and even ones from Norrin (fast rope/taxi) etc, as soon as the game starts, ALL the AI placed choppers start taking off, and have what can only be described as some gyroscopic issues lol, they all just rotate around collide or crash, all AI choppers appart from the stock AH6 little birds for some weird reason. For example, if I set up a mission using Norrins Helo "Taxi go to script" on 99% of the stock and chopper addons (normally I use Konyo's MH47) normally the chopper sits there, and waits for me to call it through the menu interface. But as soon as I enter the mission, the chopper(s) spool up, take off, rotating like it has a tail rotor issue, If I then call for "Helo Extraction" it goes through the motions, including popping smoke, apart from the extraction chopper is sideslipping away right off the map, it looks like it's trying to correct itself, but the long and short of it is, the only chopper I can set up, is the stock MH/AH6 Little Birds. I've disabled/Removed every single MOD I have including ACE, and had the vanilla game, the problem is still there with stock choppers, I've deleted and re downloaded Norrins script to make sure the copy I have isn't corrupted somewhere, but the issue keeps occuring. If you're familiar with Norrins Helo Scripts, theyre simple to use.. well they were on my other PC !! I'm off back to work where I have a fast internet connection, and unlimited download, I have a feeling I will be better off deleting the current files and redownloading the whole shebang again over the next few weeks I'm away. I hope that's a bit better info for you, I have a feeling it's something simple? -

I've just reinstalled Arma2 and OA and BAF on my new laptop, and I'm getting a no entry ' bin\config.bin.C130Damage' error, no matter what C130's I try to use, the editor crashes, I installed them again in the wrong order, OA first, through steam, so I backed up the files, installed Arma2 first, and then OA, but OA did not install within the Arma2 Folder, short of deleting OA, and istalling the whole 7GB again, does anyone have an idea what's wrong, other than the C130 config.bin ??

If you're going to make this as realistic as possible in terms of looks, and the initial addon is about the Rangers, I'd hold back from releasing a cut sleeved Combat top, I think their own particular COC would be less than impressed as they don't have as much "leeway" as Tier 1 and Tier 2 units, I've not really seen any pictures at all of Rangers defacing their issued gear, perhaps those serving have more insight on this ?

My concience is very clear, and again, you seem to forget that you also made allegations against me, try taking a serving of humble pie and an apology would not go amiss either!! ;) IF I thought he was ripping stuff from other websites I'd ask outright, I do not beat about the bush, if I have something to say I will say it!! I know of another Yoshi from some GTA forums who, along with many others as scarecrow has also aluded to that a lot of stuff from ARMA was ported to other games, do you want to know why I'm curious ?? Simply becauue I've downloaded a LOT of these weapons, and their meshes fit EXACTLY to those of BiS.. So nill points for originality, full points for ripping off someone elses work !!! There's a lot of guys here who also had their mods and addons reversed engineered as well, much to their disgust, and against their wishes, now here you are again being pretty sarcastic in your comments, when I've said to Yoshi, and everyone here can read it, due to this being in the public domain, that I wish him all the best in his efforts, I guess you missed that as you were too busy trying to be a smart arse ? I will say it again, just incase you didn't quite get it the last time, Yoshi, all the best in your efforts to bring this addon to life.. ;) -

errr I asked if he was the same guy who rips from games, for the simple reason I know lots of the GTA lot that rippped and ported from other games and passed ot iff as their own. I don't see where I've accused him of anything .. do you?? So perhaps you might, just might heed your own post before making similar accusations I asked him if he was the same guy... that's not an accusation that's a question. I said I was sceptical of his 12 hours doing 3 d modelling after producing what he has.. again, there's no such thing there as publically accusing him of anything is there? Did I imply that he's ripped that from another model? NO! but you did mentioned that me. So again there was no such accusation by me towards him....however that's exactly what you've done.. If I wanted to to accuse him, I'd do it and I do research stuff, why do you think I find ARMA2 stuff all over the place in other games, includng models, and textures, in my line of business it's called due diligence !! If he's a natural gifted 3d model maker, fair play to him, and I wish him all the best in his endevours ;) -

I'm having issues trying to run Arma2 OA and it's DLC's, I decided to back up all the game files as a precaution, I'm on a very slow connection so re downloading would be a killer for me. Anyway... I backed up all DLC's and OA without any issues, nice juicy sizes, but when I tried to back up ARMA 2 Vanilla, the download said 2 DVD size disks, as in a whopping 8 Gigs, but the back up always ends up as only 3 files, and totalling less than 6MB!! Somethings wrong, I try to verify the game caches as well, and always get 2 errors to be fixed on start up...what gives?? -

very OTT, but that there is what's needed for Arma3 the way 2.12 portrays diving and skydiving. Back on topic, the MH47 is one of my favourite mods on Arma2, so looking forwards to this on Arma3
