  1. Yes AI has some amazing senses BUT remember ACE/GL4 makes them much more amazing so you can't blame it all on BIS! There's a thin line between making AI too weak and too hard, both are bad but i do prefere hard over weak if those are the choices.

  5. 1) It can be a mixed experience on public servers but it's also about what you put into it, often players are scattered around the map more or less playing solo but sometimes your are lucky to find some players who are willing to play as a team and then it starts to get fun :) 2) Most games are players vs AI which works great in ArmA 2 as the AI can be very challenging and do cool stuff. 3) Most public servers are running ACE so thats almost a must, also get a sound mod theres a few nice ones around ;) 4) don't get shot :p

    I doubt it :( Thats always been that way and personally i can live with it :) Yes i know, you can hardly blame BIS for human played medics being slow :p

    It's because they are hidden in the grass, it's a feature and has nothing to do with Duala :)
  10. Just place a unit on/next to the building and execute script from it's init line and thats it, they'll stick to the house in combat!

    Your medic issue is part of the same problem we have moaned about for a long time, AI not responding very well to orders when entering danger/combat mode!

    Erhmm the issue was introduced in a beta patch and sticked in final 1.05, while it was in beta stage before 1.05 final there was a lot of posting about it! So it's stupid NOT posting about. Also whats the point of beta testing if we should not reports errors and issues :confused: Why :confused: it's a issue carried on from a beta so it's kinda natural to post about it here. It has also been mentioned in the ArmA 2 General forum!

    Where did i mention that the auto danger/combat feature was broken :confused: Besides that i still don't see NouberNou's point. Sure it's a beta but if we don't post about the problems they won't get fixed. We have posted about this issue weeks before Christmas and yet it didn't get fixed before 1.05 and still isn't!

    Whats your point? It worked in 1.04 and got broken in a beta up to 1.05!

    Sights was misalligned specially when in crouch position, it got fixed in patch 1.05, not sure if thats what his refering to though!

    When AI go into combat/danger mode you as leader almost looses control of them and they dance around to the endless "Go i'm covering" song. As long as they know about an enemy they won't come out of combat/danger mode. When they are in combat/danger mode it's a real hassle to get them to perform any actions like: Heal, Get In, Move there & Regroup. I have tried many times moving in the open towards a city and a then like 100 meters away from the city we get spotted, then AI stops up, go prone, start firing at the enemy and no matter what i do they refuse to run to cover. Usually it ends with me standing in cover at the edge of the city looking at my squad getting slaugthered in the open! I believe the problem started with this: [60718] Changed: AI now goes to Combat behaviour automatically only when under fire, not when player is prone. Please fix this!

    We already moaned about it in the beta thread before final 1.05 patch was released but to no avail :( But okay lets try again :) I believe this was what broke the AI: [60718] Changed: AI now goes to Combat behaviour automatically only when under fire, not when player is prone.

    Well then i really hope the community can make a fix because it's a AMAZINGLY annoying issue which makes controlling AI a pain and at times impossible :(

    Tennis.... lol yeah it must be thrilling :p I tried bowling & boxing on Wii with some friends, sure it was fun for 30min then it was blaaaa.
