great island, i really like it! i found a little issue though: 2E9osgsimxY idk if this is an issue with the BIS model or the water on the map but I thought it was amusing :) -
Runs great on my Mac Pro. Idk about running it on a laptop...

Ok my bad. I'm so used to SoW, that I forgot what the BIS sound was like. Anyways, there seems to be an incompatibility because the M249 doesn't use the SoW M249 sound -

cool new weapons and units. but i have some errors... The MG belts do not animate properly. The new AR, not the MG, but just the M249 has sound issues. it does not work with Sound of War for example. It has the vilas M249 noise as opposed to the BIS or sound mod one which makes it sound out of place in a squad. The goggles on the gunner units are opaque at certain angles. Also, what are the classnames for the new weapons? Great to see this addon improving, really enjoying it. With the new backpacks and a few minor bugs fixed this will be perfect! Thanks :) -

interestingly in the map in that PDF, Takistan borders Chernarus. hmm, didnt notice that before, but i hope BIS expands Chernarus too -

wow really nice job. finally got around to trying this and did it in one sitting. i prefer the missions to harvest red, it was a lot of fun. personally i like missions where you only control a squad and dont have to bother with HCM so i really enjoyed the early missions. good job indeed! :D

agreed. might be a bit difficult to get the AI to know when to cease suppression so that they don't run out of ammo. I hope BIS is working on this -

wow this island is really really amazing. i'd say this is on par with chernarus as far as quality goes. seriously beautiful stuff youve made. combined with the NIM weather mod for snow and blizzards its amazing! only complaint i have is what others mentioned. FPS. I have a pretty good rig and i get a silky smooth 60 fps flying around the map in a helo or walking on the mountain tops. but as soon as i hit treeline my fps plummets instantly to 15fps and i feel like im in molasses. i guess a clutter reduction would be nice, but its a shame because it looks so nice. other than performance issues, this map is outstanding. really glad to see this quality of work being made! -

great update, i really like the new skins. is it possible to get the tail gunner to face the back of the bird by default? when my i load up my squad in the AI controlled chopper the gunner sits there the whole flight (if there is no contact) facing the .50 cal into the chopper rather than scanning out the back realistically. -

it's not too bad. in the init line of the unit put: removeallweapons this; this addmagazine "ammo class name"; this selectweapon "weapon name"; this addweapon "weapon name"; repeat addmagazine as much as you want for more clips. this will start the unit with the weapon youve chosen in his hands and loaded equipped with ammo. class names for guns and ammo can be found here http://forums.bistudio.com/showpost.php?p=1292940&postcount=8 @Binkowski another great update! glad to see some new weapons. -

thanks for the explanation vilas. is it possible to have a separate config for the weapons rather than one for all? the reason is i like adding the weapons to vanilla arma 2 units in the editor but i dont need all the classnames filling up the units list. but if i dont have the config then it cant give the units the weapons as there is no entry. i hope you can see where im coming from for people that want to mix and match parts of P85 but dont need all the content. also soundmods dont work with some of the weapons from what ive seen, for example if you have a guy in your squad with a vanilla M249 and a guy with a M249 para from P85 they sound very different. great work! -

i'm not sure if youre aware of this but the animation for holding the M60E3 is off. the hand does not fit onto the grip. great addon, i'm really enjoying all the new weapons :)
