With what version of Arma was the video made of, 1.0? The AI is getting better with every patch.

A firmware update could possibly help. No guaranty. -

Great work on the Airborne units, when mirrors are available i`ll start to download. Those 8kb/sec from Filefront are not acceptable.
-
It`s not only because of file size, we don`t want more pic`s than writing in every thread. It would look strange, if anyone would quote pic`s.
-
Arma cannot run on an GeForce 2 card, no way sorry.
-
Come on, don`t take it that hard. Borat Band is a good one, imagine what it could be. Anyway`s, i have 2x Broadband connections, but quoting pic`s is not allowed.

Sick to death of beta patches and activations
Mr_Tea replied to Dudester's topic in ARMA - TROUBLESHOOTING
Because this problems are foreseeable i buy my games on DVD/CD, never online without an disk to reinstall, patch, whatever and whenever and how often i want. Even if it cost me more money, i want the disk and not only the files. -
How is responsible for ordering the M4`s, and how much is the cut he get`s for it? It`s all about money in the defense sector as everywhere else. That`s it.
-
That was a very good show. Very long, but interesting from the beginning to the end. Please, more of that.
-
It looks like the copy protection have trouble with you`re DVD drive or the drivers for it. Edit: The little check boxes are part of the copy protection, not of Arma itself.

I am definitely not disappointed about Arma. Arma is good, and it`s getting better and better. Thanks god that i`m atm not have the budget to build an new PC, with GF8800 and stuff like that. On my nearly outdated rig, Arma runs very well without strange errors. I don`t have bought Arma to get an A+ campaign and missions delivered with the game. I bought an very big sandbox full of nasty stuff, and have much fun with it.

Please post what hardware, and which version of Windows do you use. Without that info it`s hard to tell what`s wrong.
-
I put the files, that WarWolf pointed to, in my Arma dir. After that the error is gone. The files can be put into the WINNT\system32 folder too, instead putting them into the game dir.
-
I never saw this bug in any version from 1.0 to 1.07. Must be a problem with the drivers for GF8800 cards. I use an GeForce 7600GS with 512MB, always with the latest official drivers.
-
I don`t want to bitch you down, but all except your addons work if they are moved to the beta\addons folder.

win2000 - tab in to game fullscreen crash

SP4 is not broken, but caused many problems for me and for friends of mine. Win2K with SP3 works perfect, no problems here. But if you use an ATI card you need SP4 for the Catalyst drivers. -
win2000 - tab in to game fullscreen crash
Mr_Tea replied to wamingo's topic in ARMA - TROUBLESHOOTING
Alt+Tab worked fine for me in version 1.05 and 1.05+ I use Win2k Prof. SP3, the SP4 could be responsible for that problem. -
After putting the units in the beta/addons folder nearly all units work. Vilas units still cause the weapon bug this way.
-
I hope this works with other retextured addons too. I need the addons to work, if not my self made missions will not work. Anyways, thanks for the input.
-
Again. This is caused by unofficial retextured units, and will not happen to Arma without using mods.
-
I get it on default units too, but only when unofficial retextured units are "activated".
-
All retextured units causing that bug, who knows why?
-
Retextured units causing that bug, all or nearly all of them.

7600GS 512MB, happy too.
