I asked that because QG is advertised as shipping with final 1.08 patch. Maybe they could update that to ship QG with 1.09. Otherwise, I know they'll keep on patching and improving the game. Hmmm, better say, "I truly hope" they'll keep on patching... Malick

Regarding 1.08, 1.09 and Queen's Gambit, do you think/know if BIS will update the patch version included in that pack ? Would be something logical to do, in my opinion. But QG may already be in 505 Games' DVD burners, which will be too late for a last update. Malick

I have one question though : how does it work in MP ? If this file is on the server/host, will it affect all clients ? And if one or more clients use it, how does it affect gameplay for them and clients not using it... This little tweak clearly changed the experience for me. The AI seems less robotic, at least for me. Malick

Realistic Material Penetration, Is it Possible?

The BIS simulation of damage relies on hit points : you have armor and the bullet deals a certain amount of hitpoints. End. However, the code for armor penetration is present in ArmA. Search on YouTube for ArmA bullet penetration, you'll find it ! Malick -

BIS community lacks a good place where all scripts are stored. Maybe we can use the BIS WIKI as a storage or redirecting place ? Or we'll have to wait for OFPEC to catch up with ArmA's scripts... People creating and releasing scripts do it wherever they feel it fits : User missions, Addons & Mods, Mission Editing... As long as there won't be 'Scripting : Released' and a 'Scripting : Discussion' dedicated sub-forums, things will remained cluttered. Note that ArmA Editing subforums are hardly visible for any user. You have to search for them on the drop list. I feel they should be rattached to ArmA main subforum. Malick -

I've had some nasty experiences in MP games in OFP and ArmA. This basically keeps me from playing MP instead of SP. I never found a good gaming community, although I know there are some. For ArmA, I wait for the "new game" effect to settle down before trying again, but I don't have too much time on my hands for playing. Maybe some of you may be able to convince me that MP is not limited to TK, camping snipers, rude partners, careless noobs and over confident veterans... I think that the init field of a unit is global space and does not take local variable (_chopper).
