    Group name in Lobby

    I'm suffering from the same problem. The setGroupID command is executed after mission start. Everything works fine then but as many other mission editors I'd like to have the group ID in the mp lobby as well :(

    Heyho :) It's a great addon! It definately has potential! So far I have some ideas. Maybe you could think about them. At first, the RPT shows two lines. Well I guess they're status messages and no real errors. To be honest, I don't know how to fade them out too. Updating base class ->Man, by ca\characters\config.bin/CfgVehicles/CAManBase/ Updating base class ->GUE_Soldier_Base, by ca\characters2\config.bin/CfgVehicles/GUE_Commander/ Second thought is that you should add the police forces to the western side as the CDF is west too. Otherwise there's no way to fight guerillas with the police forces as they are intented to I suppose. Third thought is to add more weapons, but no heavy machine guns, special forces weapons, anti-tank or anti-air, mines or satchel charges. Policemen simply don't use them. Fourth thought is to add some police cars with those armed policemen inside to your addon.

    That's right ... there are some users that use Win7 + solid state discs and even they don't get better performance in general. It's all about ArmA II not using existing hardware ressources efficiently enough. Of course a clean and healthy system will help, but it won't solve any problem.

    It's not up to BIS to fix community addons. However the work on the game is still in progress so important things may change ingame that can effect already published addons. In this case I don't think it isn't the fault of anyone. That's just simple software evolution.

    Patch 1.03 Satisfaction Survey

    I'm not satisfied too. How can it be that this game isn't using the multicore support more effiently? I don't know any dualcore or quadcore machine that runs ArmA II as it should be. For example I've a got a Q9550 at 3.4 Ghz. Still ArmA II is only running 50 to 60 % cpu load (using all 4 cores but having a load of 20 to 30 % on each core!) while the hell is going on ingame (much AI, huge terrain, many objects). I don't think my GTX 275 is limiting. There are plenty of users that have a Core i7 which isn't running well too. To make it worse, even our simple 1.8 ghz dual core windows server isn't running at full load. And again, no more cpu load than 50 to 60 %. :(

    I don't know if it's already known but here are the RPT errors with ArmA II 1.03. http://glt.pastebin.com/m45b0bfec Maybe you should change the faction classname into something better, as well as the display names. Except for that it's great addon. It's very nice to be able to enter the CH-47 from the cargo ramp!

    Try revive script instead. It contains every feature of the First Aid module and you can set it up as you want it - from ultra easy to ultra hardcore.

    It's a good addon. It's good to keep the AI quiet for once :) So when is the next update? There's still an error in the RPT and people are complaining about english speaking CDF forces.     Did you named the playable units? Have you entered the names of those units in the revive_init.sqf? Don't just copy & paste ;) Use it, adapt it, feel the revive flowing through your body :)

  19. I had a look into this chopper this morning. Are you using the Ka-52 engine sound? It's a good WIP status :) I'm looking forward to see the final OH-58 in ArmA II.

  22. And so they aren't working properly in multiplayer mode. Most modules aren't reinitiated after JIP or even simple respawn. Other are executed multiplied with the counts of the players (the animal module for example).

    Great :) Please release those units in small packages and NOT in an all-in-one-mod (maybe in the final steps). You know what happened last time :(
  24. As every other module it's not multiplayer compatible yet. :( Sorry to say this. Let's hope for next patch.
  25. Great script! Is it compatible to multiplayer mode? What about JIP or vehicle respawn? Is the script still working after those things?
