Revive Script
[GLT] Legislator replied to norrin's topic in ARMA 2 & OA : MISSIONS - Editing & Scripting
The mobile respawn still doesn't work :( I've updated CBA to 0.3.1.84 on client and server, but somehow the mobile respawn is only working on the first mission loaded. If I switch missions and return to the working mission, everything remains broken. Here's my RPT for those tests: http://arma.pastebin.com/kzJPYFMY Edit: I did a second test ... and again, only the first mission loaded works. This time I've tried your revive test mission: http://arma.pastebin.com/gfwPa8m1 The first the revive test mission worked, the second time not. Tent is gonna be created, action menu entries changed, respawn button appears ... however there's no mobile respawn marker and the player doesn't respawn at the mobile tent but at the starting point. What would happen if I set CBA as a required addon by placing the CBA game logic? Would this fix something? -
Maybe in 5 years we'll have...
[GLT] Legislator replied to gareththomasnz's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - SUGGESTIONS
Omg this looks brilliant, especially regarding the technological aspects. Take this engine and put the BIS beauty on it and you've got a perfect game. Let's hope this engine will be used for a game some day. -

True ... maybe some day this addon is using sounds relating to the correct faction. Right now CDF is speaking english for example. -
Medevac Module
[GLT] Legislator replied to goliath86's topic in ARMA 2 & OA : MISSIONS - Editing & Scripting
This module sounds definately great! :) How will it be resynchronized to the player(s) after JIP and respawn? Automatically? -

[GLT] Legislator replied to gareththomasnz's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - SUGGESTIONS
Basicly this technology already exists in ArmA II having the compositions. At least I guess those cities in the video are created the same way. I'm eager to more real world terrain in real world scaling in a game some day. -
ArmA community is growing! Proof inside.
[GLT] Legislator replied to kroky's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - GENERAL
As for me I care more about quality than about quantity. But it's good to have so many users concentrated on this place here! :) -

[GLT] Legislator replied to [GLT] Legislator's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
There's no hind planned for ChDkz faction right now. -
This addons adds the Mi-24D to the NAPA faction. Because the NAPA steals everything from other factionsit was only a matter of time until they steal a Mi-24. Please check the readme for credits and class names! Content: - Mi-24D on the side of the NAPA Download: http://senduit.com/ce67dd (link will remain active for 7 days only!) GLT Mi-24 NAPA
[GLT] Legislator replied to [GLT] Legislator's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
@Miller: You need to correct the credits :) Somehow you got the version where credits weren't fixed :D Compare it to the file hosted by armaholic. The Mi-24 NAPA has been by Myke, I'm only the publisher. Fixing credits .... hmm that reminds me of something :D -

Thank you for hosting :) 1st post will be updated with new dl links. -
This addon adds new markers to ArmA II. I decided not to add every existing flag. Instead I wanted to use only a few flags which could be interesting for the community. Everybody can use this addon as a base for creating further flag-marker addons because I can't ensure to satisfy the wishes of further nations. The textures of the flag-marker can be used on flag poles in ArmA II with the scripting command this setFlagTexture "name.pac"; Please check the readme for credits and class names. Content: Flag-markers for: - Royal Army Corps Sahrani - Sahrani Liberation Army - Germany (1949-present) - East-Germany (1949-1989) - Iraq (1991-2004) - Iraq (2004-2008) - Iraq (2008-present) - Afghanstan (1997-2001) - Afghanistan (2001-2002) - Afghanistan (2002-2004) - Afghanistan (2004-present) - Taliban - China - Switzerland - Sovietunion - United Kingdom Known issues: - Addon doesn't make an entry in the mission.sqm Future plans: - Bugfixing - Adding further flags depending on which mods will be released Download: http://senduit.com/f51884 (link will remain active for 7 days only!) Saving Valentina in Manhatten
[GLT] Legislator replied to Starforce21's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - OFFICIAL MISSIONS
The first time I met Valentina in this mission she killed a civilian with her driving skills :D Then she disembarked, talked to me and continued her tour. I couldn't listen to her because I was laughing my soul out :D -

GLT Flag Markers
[GLT] Legislator replied to [GLT] Legislator's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I hope some day there will be a subclass for the markers. It's already hard to have an overview :) That's one reason why I didn't create more markers in the first place. -
Great to hear that! So I'm gonna try the new version.

ArmA II: Operation Arrowhead discussion thread
[GLT] Legislator replied to Tonci87's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - GENERAL
I'm sure the alliance is a nato-like pact between USA (thus US Army), Czechia, Germany and maybe some other nations as well. I guess the alliance will kick some takistani dictator's butt in the campaign. Taliban-like insurgents may ally with the alliance or the takistani regime depending on the actions of the players. That how would set it up :) -
ArmA II: Operation Arrowhead discussion thread
[GLT] Legislator replied to Tonci87's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - GENERAL
Maybe it was the decision of the publishers? What if they wanted a rushed release? I really don't know. But considering the releases of ArmA I and II I hope every involved faction has learned its lesson. I will buy Operation Arrowhead, but not from Morphicon Ltd., and definatly not shortly after the release if it's a bugged release again. Considering that BIS is working on OPA since January 2009 I guess it's enough time to create an addon. However I wouldn't mind if the release would be in late 2010. -
The Medics role online?
[GLT] Legislator replied to MancSpartan's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - MULTIPLAYER
First of all .. that's a mission related feature, not a game related feature. Considering you have played a mission using Norrin's revive script then 1) yes, there's only revive and heal, drag & drop ... depending on what option is enabled in the mission 2) Yes, because the revive can be related to the medic only as well as to all players .. depending on what option is enabled in the mission. Besides that the medic can still heal injured players 3) Nope -
Operation Flashpoint Remake, BIS listen to the people and follow these steps, please
[GLT] Legislator replied to Equi's topic in BOHEMIA INTERACTIVE - GENERAL
Besides of a remake ... what about using the original OFP ingame setting of 1985 for a true sequel of the story including David Armstrong and the other guys? I could be the missing link between having the old Flashpoint back using new technology without crowding into CWR mod or current games. -
GBU or Satchel charge? What did you choose?
[GLT] Legislator replied to [frl]myke's topic in OFFTOPIC
I placed a satchel ... GBU's are for girls in that mission :D However I wouldn't have used satchel's if the area was crowded with enemies. Sorry civs but this is a warzone. Edit: Now I get it :) It's not about prohibiting killer games in general .. Switzerland actually did it. Will it lead to "Is ArmA II a killer game or not"? -
Dynamic Object Compositions and 2D Editor
[GLT] Legislator replied to xsdmx's topic in ARMA 2 & OA : MISSIONS - Editing & Scripting
You're right. In my tests I included the isServer check an during JIP no client has spawned the composition. So it wasn't a huge mistake after all :D -
ArmA II: Operation Arrowhead discussion thread
[GLT] Legislator replied to Tonci87's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - GENERAL
BI stated last year that the working on Arrowhead started in Januar 2009. That's 14 months now which should be enough for an addon. Keep in mind that the bugfixing phase had been done from May 09 - now :p
