Wait a second, there will be a marksman DLC and no word about: Windage, rangetables for differnt weapons, spotters, spotting tools, bullet trajectory, humidity, zeroing, kestrel wind meter, wind effects? Did i miss something?

Didnt play ArmA3 since a while because since a patch a few month ago, it got unplayable FPS for me. Anyway: are there any news on Weapon rest actually?

Is there a way to rollback your ArmA3 Version to the previous one?

The game with the new Update is for me broken and unplayable. - OPFORs take way to much shots to die - you cannot run even 50 meters - you have to wait at least 1minute to be able to aim due extensive weapon sway after running just 20meters - still no weaponrest to counter this ridiculous extreme effects - HE rockets from pawnees as example have a way too small kill radius suddenly (3m next to impact it you nearly go unharmed) - holding breath not reducing weapon sway at all, just increasing it as soon you have to breath again As mostly blufor infantry player its just not possible to enjoy gaming anymore. Me and some friends want to go back to the earlier version, even it means no more beloved PvP :( Anyone can help us how this is possible? (first time after 14years of ArmA series gaming, i am in need of something like this..) -
RiE, did you ever try out ACE2 for ArmA2? If not, please do and check out the weaponrest there. You can rest your gun on ground, walls, cars, everywhere, even on other players (kind of shoulder support) Just implement it like this and im sure you will make most of us VERY happy.

With the new (unrealistic high) fatigue and weaponsway this topic comes more actual then ever before. BIS - please tell us what holds you back from adding a simple weaponrest feature?

Since the latest 2 Updates playing as BLUFOR is like masochism. OPFOR takes way too many bullets for effect. But on OPFOR side its quite ok to play. blufor goin down pretty realisticly i would say.

They are doing lot of fancy stuff: - Zeus - Launcher - Bootcamp - Karts but i couldnt care less about ANY of those. I want good core gameplay, some new features and bugfixes. - weaponrest - improved medicsystem (for example: even in ArmA2, you had to crawl when u got shot in the legs...) - throwing/rolling grenades better then a clear placeholder - why a copilot/ pilot cannot eject at choppers eg.? There i see much too less done, and what is done is not good. So NO, clearly not going in the right direction. My right direction is: Realism and PVP playability.

You cannot judge a book by somene telling you about it. Judge it by reading it yourself. Anyway, dont wanna discuss about the problems and bugs the new update brought, because there is no need to discuss, they are undeniable. I just want the old version back and asking how it is possible. Anyone? :) -
On comparable scenarios / servers / playercount around 3-6 fps less for me :)

I play this game since 14 years, and i dont care bout most bugs, performance problems and much more. I like the game and i am mostly satisfied. But what happend now is beyond my pain level endurance. And tell me, with the obvious flaws, how can you be satisfied now. Or you are mostly playing OPFOR and/or driving cars/tanks? Then the game is still fine i guess.

They cannot add a extreme fatigue system and extreme weapon sway, when there is no possibility to counter it. In words: weapon rest. I am a huge fan of realism, and i always try to use mods to make the game harder or more real. But this update is just over the top. The devs are goin from one extreme to anotherone. - 1st u could run way too far, now you hardly can run 50meters. - 1st u could shoot right after running 300m, now you have to wait 1minute after running 30meters, so that the sway is fine again. Why not go somewhere to a healthy middle?? Not sure what changed in the matter of body armor, but yesterday i needed often more then 5 hits to center mass on OPFOR soldiers with MX, to get them down. (range around 20 meters) Flying with the pawnee, you now have to directy hit the enemy so they die. 3 meters next to your HE rocket impact they will still live. The game for me, as mostly infantry player, is broken with this new update. (Its the first time, since my 14 years of Operationflashpoint, Arma Game time)

- OPFOR armor is now even higher then before (try to shoot a normal opfor guy, how much center mass shots u need?) (comon 1-3 bullets should do with MX) - Pawnee Rockets do way too less damage - Gunners / Copilots still cannot eject - Stamina is incredibly low now. after 50m sprinting u are out of breath. Its ok to have it way lower then before, but pls increase it for around 20% again. - oh just realized, but at least i LOST around 4-6 fps in a static scenarion after the update. For me its more ruined now then better. This strange training facility (even forgot the name) most ppl wont use anyway. just my 2 cents.

Hell yeah, that would be roadmapped at somewhere spring 2015 right? After (for me) 13 years of waiting, 1 more wouldnt hurt :)

Hey, guys, is there by chance, any update about a weapon rest included in ArmA native? I mean, its not like its wished since YEARS and the most upvoted featuer in the feedbacktracker. Sum ting wong, with BIS. Hey at least we got carts :D we got zeus (which obviously noone plays) and eventually will have some nice useless marksman DLC thingy sooner or later. Where is the milsim/game company i used to support more then a decade? I slowly get the feeling that some guys who want to destroy BIS infiltrated the company, trying to do lot of things which piss off the long lasting community.

As i heared from a trusted source, BIS is not implementing the weaponrest for now, because it is too complicated to make it work for AI. With this Poll i want to show BIS, that we dont care and they should still get it in the game, even it doesnt work for AI at the beginning. Even DayZ gets Bipods in, ofcourse they dont have to care about Zombie AI using it, but i think it would be a great improvment if we get it in, even AI cannot use it :D

Yes and Yes. But its just implemented when u are prone. Also most here, arent even talkin about bipods yet directly. A simply weapon-rest would do (on every surface) -
