    Development Blog & Reveals

Hate to quote myself, but doesn't this strike you as odd? What's the deal? If Arma3 is taking place in northern hemisphere, the Moon should not look like that, the "man on the moon" is in totally wrong position.

How to prepare steam to install Arma3 on your ssd

Could someone please briefly explain how to set up Steam folder on another drive? Thank you.

How to prepare steam to install Arma3 on your ssd

May be a little bit offtopic, but I have a question: How do you activate BIstore key on Steam?

    Development Blog & Reveals

The Moon at the end of the first video looks as it's seen from southern hemisphere. Why? EDIT: I've seen the other two videos, they're simply amazing. I'm speechless.
  5. AMD 6000+ 3.0 GHz 4 GB DDR2 GTX 275 Yeah, I know...
  6. So it's on at ~ 2PM CET. Good. I come home from work at 5PM and comfortably purchase it because till then everybody else did. Oh...wait... I bet BI store will be down in minutes. :o

Steam vs BIS Store & Exclusivity - Explained

What about buying digital (from BI store) and retail (from whereever) later on, which I certainly intend to do? ;)
  8. CWR team, thank you for all the things you unsefishly gave to this community and best of luck. When Arma 3 comes, this mod will be one of the reasons to keep Arma 2 on my HDD. :inlove:

Arma 3 Performance vs. Arma 2

This is very important, good thinking.

Which version will you be buying?

Quick question (Bundle and Purchase Arma 3)

Not that I want to hijack the thread, but I don't want to make a new one just to ask this. Will Peter games/Morphicon be the only retail distributor of Arma III?
  13. Go to Settings and try to figure out which ones are dependant on CPU, and which ones on GPU.

    Arma 3 plans for 2013

Since I haven't read any scientific papers about it, I wouldn't know. My estimate is that atleast 97% of the players will never read it. ;) Anyway, that was not the point of my post. EDIT: MadDogX summed it up quite nicely:

    ArmA 3 System Requirements

Yeah, but I still would want to try it, wouldn't I? ;) Anyway, I think it's best not to divide users into two groups, ones that own nVidia, and ones that don't. :)

    Arma 3 plans for 2013

Guys, it's normal that there are people that want to see their name in the credits, don't judge them. :) If I had the money for supporter edition, well who knows what I'd do .... :o

    ArmA 3 System Requirements

I wish they wouldn't, my GTX 275 would explode. :p

    ArmA 3 System Requirements

As far as I (we) know, PhysX in Arma III is on CPU, not GPU.

    ArmA 3 on Steamworks?

Arma III Steam exclusive? OUCH. Having said that, I have a few games on Steam which work fine. I don't really like Steam or BI's decision, but what can you do? Of course I will buy Arma III.

Which version will you be buying?

Since I already have all the games, expansions and DLCs, including retail ArmaX, I'll be getting Alpha, and possible DLCs later when they're released. No, you're not. I'll be buying that when it's available. :)

    Will You Use the Cross-hairs?

I always leave crosshairs on, but I hardly ever use it, i aim with iron sights / optics. The odd situation when I do use crosshairs is when I stumble on an enemy soldier a few meters away. If someone doesn't want to use it, thankfuly we have the option to turn it off.

    Any interesting books to recommend?

There's also a nice one I've read recently, "Bad astronomy" by Phil Plait.
