Hate to quote myself, but doesn't this strike you as odd? What's the deal? If Arma3 is taking place in northern hemisphere, the Moon should not look like that, the "man on the moon" is in totally wrong position.

May be a little bit offtopic, but I have a question: How do you activate BIstore key on Steam? -
The Moon at the end of the first video looks as it's seen from southern hemisphere. Why? EDIT: I've seen the other two videos, they're simply amazing. I'm speechless.

So it's on at ~ 2PM CET. Good. I come home from work at 5PM and comfortably purchase it because till then everybody else did. Oh...wait... I bet BI store will be down in minutes. :o -
Steam vs BIS Store & Exclusivity - Explained

What about buying digital (from BI store) and retail (from whereever) later on, which I certainly intend to do? ;) -

CWR team, thank you for all the things you unsefishly gave to this community and best of luck. When Arma 3 comes, this mod will be one of the reasons to keep Arma 2 on my HDD. :inlove: -
This is very important, good thinking.

Quick question (Bundle and Purchase Arma 3)
kernriver replied to Falcon01's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
Not that I want to hijack the thread, but I don't want to make a new one just to ask this. Will Peter games/Morphicon be the only retail distributor of Arma III? -
What's the first thing you're going to do on Alpha?

Go to Settings and try to figure out which ones are dependant on CPU, and which ones on GPU. -
Since I haven't read any scientific papers about it, I wouldn't know. My estimate is that atleast 97% of the players will never read it. ;) Anyway, that was not the point of my post. EDIT: MadDogX summed it up quite nicely:
-
Yeah, but I still would want to try it, wouldn't I? ;) Anyway, I think it's best not to divide users into two groups, ones that own nVidia, and ones that don't. :)

Guys, it's normal that there are people that want to see their name in the credits, don't judge them. :) If I had the money for supporter edition, well who knows what I'd do .... :o
-
I wish they wouldn't, my GTX 275 would explode. :p
-
As far as I (we) know, PhysX in Arma III is on CPU, not GPU.
-
Arma III Steam exclusive? OUCH. Having said that, I have a few games on Steam which work fine. I don't really like Steam or BI's decision, but what can you do? Of course I will buy Arma III.
-
Since I already have all the games, expansions and DLCs, including retail ArmaX, I'll be getting Alpha, and possible DLCs later when they're released. No, you're not. I'll be buying that when it's available. :)
-
This is something I'd like to know too.

I always leave crosshairs on, but I hardly ever use it, i aim with iron sights / optics. The odd situation when I do use crosshairs is when I stumble on an enemy soldier a few meters away. If someone doesn't want to use it, thankfuly we have the option to turn it off.

There's also a nice one I've read recently, "Bad astronomy" by Phil Plait.

Welcome back boys! There's no place like good old Czech Republic for you at this moment, isn't there? :D Get a beer and spend some time with your families.
