  1. This is gonna sound weird, but I would like to see a mod that makes Razor Team invinsible in the campaign (except the character you play as). I'm tired of losing missions because somebody in your team does something stupid. It doesn't matter how tactical or smart you try to be when you play the campaign, the team members always fail you.
  2. When I insert the CD, the "Play" button is greyed and the "Install" button is clickable. And Xfire doesn't recognize the game, unless I add it manually (and then Xfire in-game doesn't work). The game plays fine otherwise, but I still want this fixed.
  3. I can't activate the camera.sqs through a trigger for some reason. I'm doing it the exact same way as in Arma, by putting the camera.sqs line in the int field and using "Radio Alpha" as the activator. Am I doing it wrong or is the game doing it wrong?
  4. Ah, it was just a small miss by myself. I wrote "this" instead of "player".

    Some of the PR-devs are currently at early stages of making PR2. They will be using the C4-engine.

    Well, since Russia is to the north - it would be logical to get killed if you head up there.
  15. I don't know if this has been discussed before, but will vehicles have micro-AI? Mechanized infantry would be more realistic, tanks would use the terrain for cover and concealment (hull-down positioning, etc), helicopters would use treelines and hills for cover, etc.

    Ok, the new trailer looks kind of promising towards this aspect. But only if it's "real" of course.

    FDF Mod 1.0 for ArmA

    Really like the mod so far! Only downside is that ArmA's lack of AI capable of handling urban combat can be noticed clearly. The mission where you raid the factory was a pain to play through because my soldiers kept dying for stupid reasons. But it's not FDF's fault.
  18. We're already 99% guarranteed to get realistic weapon performance, vehicles, etc. But it's just as important to make everything in the missions believeable. For example, I stopped playing the Resistance campaign when I realised how rambofied it was. I mean, some random farmers on Nogova stealing tanks from the Soviets...? Comon... Ok, I know you sometimes have to break realism boundaries for gameplay reasons, but things like that are way overboard if you ask me. Parts of ArmA was the same. My fav campaign is the original CWC. Because it had the most realism in it's missions. There were only a handful of missions in Rambo style, but they still made sense. But for the most part you were working togheter with at least one squad, which added at least as much to the military and realism atmosphere as the weapons, vehicles, etc.

    I wonder if there will be a full-blown fight between US and Russia forces from the start of the campaign, or if it is something that will develop as the story progresses.
