  1. I have done a few tests and it seems that OPFOR AI will not use their anti-armor vehicle weapon. They will fire at a Hunter with their rifle and not use the AT weapon. I set skill to highest and this was still the case. Just letting you know.

But if you could please add this to your "perhaps" list please. A diver magnetically attaches a limpet mine to the hull of a ship while in the water...it can be set to timer or touched off.' Thanks!

  4. HAHAH! yes I screwed around with it and V7 works! Operation Sharp Vanguard is ready ! If you enjoy clandestine SEAL Ops at night please peruse it should you see it in the server list! Thank you Gentlemen! Though I would love to add my own voice over in certain parts that is a bit out of my league right now...but maybe v.8! this is an early version of the insertion. Since the patch I have upped each chopper to six players as the patch allowed for the MH-6 to fill all of its seats. Of course it is now a 12 player COOP mission not an 8 as the youtube description says.

Hi guys I placed this description.ext in my MP folder of the mission: onLoadName = "Sharp Vanguard"; author = "Drzaues"; onLoadMission = "Clandestine SEAL Operation"; LoadScreen = "Trident.jpg"; I also placed the .jpg in the folder with it. I got this to work once on a test mission but I can't seem to reproduce it. I have not done anything differently. The mission works i just get the "unnamed mission, unnamed author" thing on loading. Thanks guys
  7. Thanks guys..I'll work on it some more. In the meantime I have a workaround and while it is not as pretty as the VAS I simply used aramidiot's scripts to fill an ammo box will all game items.
  8. So I tested my mission in the editor thoroughly the virtual ammo system worked great as did the respawn order. When I uploaded to the multi-player and attempted to use it there The VAS failed and it listed my respawn as "none" I went into what was ostensibly the MPmission folder for the mission and added the notecards namely "respawn SIDE" and the scripts for the VAS (along with the gear folder). Is this a basic thing I am missing? Or is there a fix? Thanks!

    Some questions

    Wayan may I ask what type of sounds did you create for this? I was thinking of recording a voice comm kind a la metal gear...you know the remote commander. I was thinking of just recording it to my hard drive and making it play. Why are your titles lengthy like the line about the landing force. I don't understand that. ---------- Post added at 01:55 ---------- Previous post was at 01:54 ---------- If I name the Scaffold "Scaf1" and the guard "Guard1" how would it look? ---------- Post added at 02:01 ---------- Previous post was at 01:55 ---------- Also I tried the trigger to set to "notpresent" on the large radio tower that I wanted to trigger on destruction, that did not seem to work. Trying to set off an effect once that thing is blown up.
  11. So in the init section I typed Medic1 setCombatmode "blue"; Medic1 setBehaviour "stealth" I received an error message...what did I do wrong here?

  13. So I have changed the description in the mission folder or even added one when none was present. Now it seems to kill my mission before it opens. Any youtube videos out there? I know I am missing a basic step.
