  1. Solved, 1. With parameter switch, you specify folder, not file. 2. Server.cfg should point to custom difficulty settings, otherwise they will not apply.
  2. I setup my first dedicated server today, everything is working fine but first thing I want to get rid of weapon crosshair and get control of other difficulty settings as well. Problem is, that when I add -profiles=C:\Games\Arma3\A3Master\server.Arma3profile to launch parameters, then starting the server gets stuck. It hangs forever at "Loading core configs". If I remove the server.Arma3profile it will launch fine (but then I get the crosshair).   3. I try to use server.armaprofile taken from here, but then my dedicated server gets stuck at "loading core configs". I took the last txt file table from this thread and I only need to disable crosshair.
  4. I am hosting mostly Escape games based on RHS and CUP modes. My setup have both CUP and RHS combined at the same session. Does it make any since to divide them, that CUP and RHS would be separate mod listing? I noticed that if I leave all CUP out, my pure RHS will miss other maps which are included in CUP. I currently have 17 mods compinged, RHS, CUP and enchaced movement. Unfortunatelly it is too tricky to add picture here and I don't know how to list all mods I have in launcher for host server. @RedHammerStudios any thoughts?
  5. I wish someone could do Escape on Novogorsk and Cold War Crisis ..or maybe teach me how to do it. I did missions in Operation Flashpoint 20 years ago, but new editor looks weird 😄
  6. I have 4 x RHS mods and Escape RHS mod. When hosting the game, if a user connects with wrong mod setup, it will fail our mission immediately. I have to advice every second player to unload all mods from their launcher, select my server and let launcher load mods based on my server mod collection. Then it works. But the problem is, that players tend to kill our game if they have something wrong loaded. I have noticed this behavior only with RHS so far. Is there something I can do?
  7. Okay and now really solved it - DLCs do not effect this, but wrong mod selection does. We did demo this scenario with my friend, and learned, that if a player joins to server with wrong mods and not allowing server to configure modes, he will crash entire mission 😞 ... there is no way to prevent this, only with password! 😞
  8. In Escape parameters, while hosting game, is option to select "Enable motor pools". What is that? Thanks.
  9. Solved. It is not about Mods, but DLCs. I needed to disable all DLCs in mission parameters.

    No still doesn't work. I added the resistance compaing compatibility fix but the hostage mission still wont load and the game gets stucked.

    THe mission is "Hostages", it comes after the mission where you defend the town from tanks with thanks. I seems that no way I can revert or resume the mission, I just can't access it and my PC hangs. I did play it before, but I didn't pass it. So it worked before but not anymore.

    I learned to track down, when what has updated, and it was only this Resistance which was updated 19.3.2023. Revering or resuming will crash entire Arma3 right now. I did delete and unscriibed from Resistance compaing, and then re-downloaded it. I then created new MOD list (I have 11 mods, 9 required + additional mission packs). I then reset the compaing and started from beginning, using the SKIP code/cheat. I managed to skip several missions (I played before last week already), but this mission I am stuck to, again failed Arma. The mission is when you free hostages and then go up to the hills to attack the base. I can provide better details later. I now try to reboot again and revert the mission again.

    I don't know what happnd, but my compaing progress just died on me. I can't revert or resume last mission I played. I saw OFP main mod was about to be upgraded, not sure was this releated to this.

    I tried first the another Reistance compaing which has part 1 original and additional part 2, but it was impossible to play because tanks didn't get distoyed because AT had no effect. Lets see how this goes 🙂

  23. Installed the game on Windows 10, ATI based computer. Other games work fine, but Ironfront don't. I patched to 1.05 and installed DirectX 9, but it still does not launch. Full error message is "Error creating Direct3D 9 Graphical engine".
