Hi Sa-Matra love your work and me and my squad use A3 only for your wasteland servers I just played the campaign and noticed a lot of clutter, water, blood, etc. that could be used instead of those big bron bags, just saying :)

Hi guys I noticed sometimes the enemy AI in 144 mod, just lies there wounded How can I implement that in arma regular units? even if it's only AI EDIT I ask this because I have ACE 1.09 and the enemy doesn't move in agony it just lies there saying he needs a doctor I'd like to have that for ace or regular arma units I only saw this in I44 mod for arma could you please tell me is there a script I could use

Hi guys, can you help getting these islands to work on A2 OA (combined) I have CAA1 working and I have all the addons and files for OFPIP but I recalled having some files in the userdata folder, I guess some satimages any way I really need only those files that were supposed to be in the userdata folder thanks, regards EDIT, forgot to say YOMMA ADDON isn't working for me and no torrent was found

Hi guys Me and my mates all have Arma 2 CO from Steam We want to use the squad features, like squad tag and logo Is the members part required in the squad xml file? if it is required, is it safe for us to post the unique player id of our profiles? Also, is the custom faces feature still working? (granted faces are below 100KB) regards

truer words! maybe we can make this a sticky and before anyone jumps and say "lol this is not cod4" I know is not cod and I've been a user of the series since original OFP, and it really needs to get it addressed +1 on the CQB FIX maybe if we say pretty please? -
QFT I love this sim, like the most hardcore "fanboi" But the CQB, gun handling and physics need to be reworked, WITHOUT losing any other feature I've seen RL soldiers do: 1.jumping small gaps like roof tops, small trenches etc. 2.climbing walls, and obviously properly climb them down 3.step over small fences it's sad only the latter is modeled

According to the update in the news forum there goes the OFP+RES scenario :confused: (aka GOLD EDITION) So since it's a stand-alone game and no content from armaII would work to it's fullest Sigh .. don't forget: Include all your Modules (ACM, SOM, HC, ALICE, etc.) Fix the CQB capabilities, revamp it if necessasy Make all civilians capable of bear arms and include all animations and correct vehicle positions Female soldiers -

@ kju hi mate, listen, a couple of questions, can you tell me what changed from the beta-private version and this public release? I mean they all work, and look extremely awesome but I "feel" like I lost the gained extra FPS by using arma1 islands did you guys improved the landscape textures? or upgraded buildings? what would I lose if I return to the pre-release version? regards

FLIR PEQ Flashlights hell, that's enough content for a new game and I'm willing to also buy it, no matter if it's stand alone :D BUT please B.I. don't get the EA syndrome like NFS ans FIFA titles, that every new version drops cool features please don't forget about Animal Life & Civilians, All your awesome modules BI needs our support, but please we as a community need to join efforts and remind them not to lose any feature but add new things and correct the bugs -
Same Scenario [long post] ArmA 1.16 CWR Desert Island 3 playable infantry groups (4 units each) 1 playable pilot 1 empty chopper Sample infantry group: col, maj, lt, sgt. Pourpose: As I already stated most of my ArmA I time I spend it solely messing around with the editor, picturing one scenario then spending weeks modifying it adding modules(dac), 3rd party addons(units) etc. I like to have different playable groups from all sides, just to see the diff POV, but sometimes I change sides during the same session which WAS causing me problems Description: ALL TASKS done by me, the player pilot drives the chopper 1st group embark in chopper pilot transport the 1st group 1st group disembark 1st group leader stays in command but with a locked [mount] order to the chopper, used method "done" via 0-1 removes the order and leader stays in command, if I abandon the group and recheck, locked [mount] order returns <- this is what makes the leader loose command Repeat same operation for other two infantry groups only to loose command in all of them Solutions didn't work 1.Rank Structure (built in)[as Ornelp sugested] - Didn't help 2.Implement CoC-CEX - Didn't help So I guess the engine wasn't intended for that type of playing so I modified my style and always introduce CEX, just to be able to stay in command and order other groups around regards

Hi guys let's set the scenario, EDITOR, 3 groups, 1 player, 2 leader playable ok, so let's asume there's two infantry groups and one chopper with crew I start as a squad leader A, then later change to the pilot of a chopper B to transport one infantry squad A when I reach destination I land chopper B then switch to infantry A unload, then go for squad C to do the same so when ever I return to being squad leader A or C, another soldier in the squad has taken command! Is this a known bug? I am doing something wrong? Is there a way to prevent it? perhaps with ranks or group commands? regards

Hi guys, I couldn't be able to follow this thread due work related problems and ArmA 2 ;) but I have to tell you this, I love to use the Team Switch feature, for me it's a must because I most exclusively mess with the editor(single player, and some accasional LAN games I need to test the following: 1.Rank Structure (built in)[as Ornelp sugested] 2.A Script manage the unit's array and regroup them or 3.Always implement CoC-CEX in all my missions which is what I'm being doing

Thanks mate! at_gui_peripheral Removes the blob friend/enemy markers and the ones on the edge of the screen so you can play on a server that has them activated without your screen blinking like a christmas tree. Before - Before 2 - After that was exactly what I was looking for! :D regards

Hi guys ArmA 1.16 + ACE 1.09 question here Can ACE make wounded non player units, suffer wounds in agony "a la I44" (invasion)? all they do is lie there and a context menu appears, "Examine", can they switch moves? I noticed this question is related to another post I made, but this thread is more appropiate regards
