    And even if the mod comes after the release of Arma 3: It's good to hear (like W0lle said in this interview) that you guys don't rush and put pressure on yourself, like it was with the previous version of the mod (according to W0lle). It's done when it's done and it will be appreciated and played, no matter when it is finished. Arma 2 is a great platform which is much closer to OFP (much closer than Arma 1) - I don't have any concerns that CWR² will "go under" in the A3 ecstasy! Heck, after all you get the chance to play OFP in actual graphics (which I consider A2 to be)!

    Well, that's not good... :( Is there another method to limit sounds to a defined range? I used the triggers because you could do that... But not being able to deactivate the sounds makes it useless for me.

    Hmmm - I tested your mission - it doesn't work in mine... Maybe I should add that I'm using custom sounds which are defined in my own mission description.ext... I have 3 triggers that I want to "mute" and I delete all of them, but the sounds continue until their end... EDIT: Strange things are happening...:eek: Sometimes it works, sometimes not!...

    Hello guys! Thanks for this thread! It helped me a lot! One question: Is there a way to stop a CfgSFX sound which comes from a trigger? I thought that the sound was attached the trigger and if I deleted the trigger the sound would "be gone" too. But this doesn't work. Setpossing the trigger far away also doesn't work. It only stops the sound when you leave the area the sound is played in and come back in again - in this case the sound is no more there. Does anyone know a workaround to make the CfgSFX sounds from a trigger stop?

    If I remember correctly, ArmA is not the abbreviation for Armed Assault! The game is called Arma: Armed Assault (or Arma: Combat Operations in North America). That said all of BI's military games are called Arma now: Arma: Cold War Assault Arma: Armed Assault Arma 2 Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead Arma 3

    Welcome Viking! You might want to have a look at the Flashpoint missions from thomsonb. They are completely random. 100% exploration and dynamic war around you. Flashpoint: Chernarus Flashpoint: Takistan & Zargabad & Shapur

    Yes, (for others with the same problem) just copy the @folder from the mission package to the Arma 2 folder and launch the game with the copied folder as mod. I also strongly recommend the mission to be played without any other addons or mods than the required ones as it may cause showstoppers and weird bugs!
