Yes they are detailed sources. But I do not see capitlaism as a cause anywhere. I never mentioned Spartacus. The USSR had an 'Empire' in Eastern Europe and they wanted to extend their power = Imperialism. Stalin was not good on the whole. He killed more people than Hitler. That must make him a saint in your books. The reason why people in Russia allegdly like him is rather simple and obvious to anyone who would actually look into it unlike someone who is brainwashed such as yourself. They 'like' him because he was the ultimate symbol of Russian power. He was leader at the time when Russia entered the world stage as a superpower. But that time is long gone. That is why he is looked at through rose tinted spectacles. It's ok to like him today because he is gone and presents no threat to the population because he is long dead. It was just like Jacobitism in Scotland. Once it had passed as a threat it was ok for people to 'flirt' with it. The famine in Russia was not caused by the supposed 'kulaks'. People were starving because communism was not working at that time. The 'kulaks' were used as a scapegoat by the Soviet government to fool the population. De-classified Soviet documents from the time admit that communism was not working. That is why they re-introduced some capitalism into the grain market.(Look at the 'Decree Of The All-Russian Soviet Executive Committee on the Substitution Of A Tax In Kind For Requisitioning' March 1921. Pay particular attention to point 8. Which allows peasnts to sell on any surplus grain that they have. It's an official Soviet document so no need for you to distrust it.) What you can't seem to understand is that you (specifically you) can't claim to be 'for the people' ("wage slaves") and denounce Hitler's executuions of the people while supporting Stalin's cull of the people. They both killed huge numbers of the population (what you would call "wage slaves"). If you are truly supportive of the people you would denounce both. Whereas I don't defend the modern west and the people killed directly by them.

If you are not trying to get people to your point of view or see it from your point then it is utterly pointless arguing in a forum. Actually I hardly hear of much death tolls by Stalin etc. in newspapers as they deal with current issues. Of which communism is not a major part. Yes I have read about suffering because of capitalism and imperialism. I have come across it in my interest of history all the time. Also the USSR would come under the imperialism umbrella during the Cold War as well as America. So imperialism really intersects and is not seperate. Please do not make assumptions about which caused the most deaths unless you can provide figures from a reliable source. Also you make generalistaions about death tolls of the west etc. Of which you probably calculate from 1000's of years of history. While the modern west has been in existance since the 1800's (and that would be at a push). You would also probably include dictatorships. And these are different. Like the distinction you make between communism and socialism. Sometimes violence is necessary, like fighting Hitler for example. There are hardly any slaves in the world anymore. Yes sometimes fighting is needed for 'freedom' but mass culling like you support is not needed. Yes you are a hypocrite condeming Hitlers cull while supporting Stalin's. People find this odd and logically consider you an insane killer. It also makes you look foolish. Which means people will never take you seriously. Everyone is not the same as you. Most are not blood lusting killers and would rather not go through such a thing. We are all human you know.

In the UK there is a series called 'Ross Kemp in Afghanistan' being aired on SKY 1 at the moment. Ross Kemp is an actor in the UK and in the past few years he did some documentaries on gangs across the world called 'Ross Kemp on Gangs.' Basically he is in Afghanistan with the 1st Royal Anglians during their tour in Helmand. Here is the first episode. Ep.1 Part 1 Rest of the 1st one and the second one can be found here. Keep an eye on that page for the rest. They are aired on a Monday evening UK time.

He has moved on to ArmA but for a mod called Project 85. Point is he said he doesn't have time for anything major for this mod. End of. You should be able to play through the campaign with this mod. That was the point of the mod. There will probably be a few bugs with cutscenes or something but Solus said that SLX 1.1 beta should be able to play through with no problems. FFUR 85 is based of SLX 1.1 beta.

I dont just suggest every addon made under the sun. I research to support the posting of addons suggestions. Because I post long and lengthy suggestions/comments , I expected that it would not make certain people happy , but in the end it is up to the mods authors to make their final decision. Which is all good and well. Wanting the mod to be more realistic that is. However you fail to take notice of some key statements. Firstly in a previous FFUR thread TB told you that you would have to put up with some addons/mods being uncompatible with FFUR. Secondly, in the first post of this thread TB states this will be the last major FFUR release because of a lack of time. Now all these 'realism suggestions' require a lot of work and time and Thuberdbird84 clearly stated that he does not have the time to do such things. So why you posted them in the first place is beyond me.

I just read in Janes that the Japanese have pulled their fuel ships out of the war on terror and that the Portugese have reduced their numbers in Afghanistan to 19 personnel and 1 C-130. It also said that the South Koreans are also reducing the number of troops they have in Iraq at the moment.
