The ship in the demo seemed to stop instantly, surely previous X's weren't like that? Might have to dig one out again!

I get the feeling that some stuff is either dialled down for the GC demo build or not implemented yet, ship movement seems to lack any kind of momentum or implemented physics etc and it seems to be in god mode as well.

Should be faster next time shouldn't you? ;)

The answer is a resounding No. None of the CD Key/Serial resellers we know about have obtained a proper license. The origin of their CD Keys is unknown, but we do know about numerous occasions when they sell banned / disabled CD Keys so you will not be able to play the game online at all. Please note that not only is buying CD Keys from these CD Key resellers risky and usually there’s no kind of guarantee, but also Bohemia Interactive is unlikely to get any royalty from these places for the sales. These CD Keys also in no way include a license to the game itself and CD Key resellers are expecting you to pay a considerable amount of money (you can often get similarly priced deals for the full game package) but they also do not provide any type of guarantee. We can only recommend people buy the game online from respectable sources, like Steam, Sprocket, Direct2Drive, Impulse Driven or Metaboli , or of course a boxed DVD version. The word is banned not because of racism but because it's related to a cheating/hacking pack, there is nothing that can be done to resolve it as we don't support the discussion of cheats/cheating/cheaters, I know it's not related to your own good work but that's how it is, ironically we don't censor racist terms, no point, people are free to use them, then we will permanently ban them from the forums :)

You would need to check that with the publisher as it would be for a publisher to decide if there's any restrictions on their version rather than us.

Yeah I played it and loved it back in the day when I was purely a sit hunched over the PC kind of gamer, I've evolved (devolved?) for my sins into more of a lay in bed using a controller in front of the 120" projector screen, so whilst I can still play PC games with a 20M HDMI cable running through the walls (I kid you not) previous X games just didn't work with a controller, thankfully now that problem is no more, and seems that to please the demographic like myself they haven't had to dilute the game or its scope so the hunched over PC gamer type will enjoy it just as much as ever! Hard to believe they made all that with a staff of 20 as well!

Holy old thread batman! Well it's for significant reasons, hadn't been following the game too closely but watched these last night and IMO it's looking absolutely stunning, day one purchase for sure.

Also please use a spellchecker, your post is extremely hard to read and may stop people from helping you.
