    There's a bag called simply "Tripod". Use that as the tripod bag, and the M2 Minitripod as the MG bag. It's confusing, but the M2 Minintripod is for the lower version, while the normal M2 is for the standard version.

    CO 60 - Operation Mongoose

    This is a great mission, Homer! Props to both you and Macolik for making such a fantastic mission. The flashlight script is one of the coolest things I've seen done with ArmA so far. Very nice job.

  7. This is simply fantastic, Silola. You've really done a fantastic job. Watching that base being built from start to finish was glorious. I'd love to see some of the "Wackier" things testers have made. When I saw all of the new custom objects, the first thing I wanted to do was build a huge treehouse. How long has this been in the making for? The amount of detail and customizeability in this is downright awe-inspiring.
  8. You should be fine. I've had upwards of 70 in one mission, without a noticeable hit at all. Although, they were dynamically created. If the server is dedicated, you'd probably be better off running the triggers locally. But from my experience the performance hit is so small (from what I've seen), it'd probably be easier to just use them on the server. This also might be helpful.

  14. Hey. Would it be possible to have some non-photoshopped pictures too? The bloom/saturation is killing my eyes. The screenshots in the biki about CWR are nice, because it's hard to tell if they haven't been majorly changed in photoshop.

  16. Hey guys. One of the things that bugged me with the default BIS AH-1 Cobras, was that the gunner had control of the FFARs, and the pilot didn't. Many a time playing coop, my pilot couldn't put me in the perfect position to lay waste to an entire SLA Patrol. This addon fixes that. The Pilot now has the ability to fire the FFARs, while the gunner still has control of the M197 and Hellfires. There's one small problem. If you fly the chopper by yourself, all you will be able to fire is the FFARs, not the M197 and/or Hellfires. Even with manual fire, the pilot cannot fire the chaingun or Hellfires. The classname of the vehicle is "BF2stylecobra" for your scripting needs. Editor's Note This addon does not change anything else about the Default BIS cobra, other than the fact that the pilot has control over the FFARs. The flight characteristics, damage model, and everything else is exactly the same as the BIS Cobra. This is not closer to BF2 in any way, shape, or form, aside from giving the pilot control over the FFARs.     Yeah, Yeah. I know. I thought about it long and hard, I wasn't sure if it was realistic or not, and I didn't want to give it a stupid generic ego-inflating name, so I stuck with something simple, and mostly everyone will know what it includes.

    That means alot coming from such a skilled addonmaker as yourself . Thanks for the mirror, but on the link it says the pilot has control over all weapons. That is incorrect. The pilot only controls the FFARs, while the gunner controls the Chaingun and Hellfires.

    You can still turn on manual fire, but you can't fire the Chaingun or Hellfires. It's sort of like how you can turn on manual fire in the Blackhawk, but only fire the left Minigun.

    Tank Fire Control Systems

    I've been messing around with this addon for a few hours now, and it's really fantastic! Keep up the great work, NWD. You're continually raising the bar. Do you have any plans for adding this system to helicopters? With some of the large islands with huge Viewdistances, it'd be really helpful I bet.

  24. That looks fantastic, NWD! I can't wait till tommorow. I have one suggestion, if I may. Since ArmA has the new fangled ability to activate scripts via keypresses, don't you think it'd be nice (and helpful) to clear out the action menu, and have each command bound to a button?
  25. I've always been thinking of some sort of Bosnian war Total conversion. The terrain in Bosnia is almost exactly the same as the terrain in OFP. The weapons and vehicles have been done for the most part in other mods, so maybe a conversion/cooperation between mods could be done.
