Am i wrong or are those shadows in the background of the latest nightvision screenshot from a dynamic light source? Might be a vehicle.

Arma 3: Community wishes & ideas- NO DISCUSSION
honkitonk replied to Maio's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
Not only in Editor. In the settings you should be able to set the skills of the ai in detail. At least for aiming speed, aiming precission and some kind of situational awareness - like hearing shots in different distances ... -
ARMA 3 inverview with Dwarden / David Foltyn (me :)
honkitonk replied to Dwarden's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
Yes and after fighting the enemy the commander says: " Scotty, beam me up" -
The railgun tank is really ugly. Can't imagine they really want to put this "thing" in the game.

Feedback to E3 Interview and Ingame Scenes

Something that sounds really bad is, that according to the german game magazine pcgames, the AI will switch to standy if the player isn't nearby. The global and dynamic calculated AI was one of the main features of the ArmA series :( http://www.pcgames.de/Arma-3-PC-236876/News/E3-2011-Arma-3-angeschaut-Mega-Projekt-mit-neuer-KI-Physik-Insel-und-einer-eigenen-Unterwasserwelt-828940/ -

The big problem about throwing a grenade is not beeing mentioned to be controlable. My first throw nearly killed me. I hit the button like in A2, looked for the grenade and thought: wtf ... run! Another nice feature is that the sights are now switchable. Now the G36 is really nice baby. Red-dot optics for CQB and the scope for larger distances. -

Is there some dust blown over the street right before the first of the three trucks appears? Maybe a sign of huge sandstorms waiting for us :D -

He wrote that they have shorter an more precise radio messages. Perhaps they made new sound samples. -

There where no real new facts in the german preview at gamestar. Most important: - there were only some minor bugs - he was supprised about the fire support by the ai - not better but less buggy ai - new radio messages (in opposition to some findings on the sshots he mentioned that there isn't the old system with the clock for enemy positions) - oposite to arma2 the training missions are useful and all the other stuff we already know (new maps, missions, units, ...) -
Thanks for translation. But it makes me sad reading that there aren't any obvious changes to ai.
-
@Litos: Really impressive. Sometimes it's impossible to decide whether it's reality or a game.

Maybe the insurgents are able to hide their weapons under their clothing? -
I'm speechless.
