Thank you guys! In my infinite wisdom I did not have a capture set for the in-game PTT and only had it for Discord... I set up a second mic capture and now I have my voice recorded. Sometimes a set of fresh eyes make the difference!

I only see the equalizer going when I PTT with discord. It doesn’t go when I PTT in game. let me hop on my computer I’ll take some screenshots, it will be easier to go through this

Correct so I have one button set for discord and another one for comms in game. discord gets recorded and in arma I’ve got the mic and speaker icon next to my name when I talk. People can hear me in game. It’s just my in game voice that’s not picked up

Because I play on a bunch of public servers. My friends are on discord and I still have to talk to other dudes in game. I’ve been watching videos and got everything running but capturing my voice through VON 🤣 everything else is fine. As mentioned earlier I had the same issue using nvidia shadowplay so it makes me believe it’s not so much of a OBS issue 🤷🏼♂️ I could be wrong here

I do have one set. What I’ve noticed is that when I click on the VON button the mic channel doesn’t pick up my voice on the equalizer but people can hear me in game… I’m brand new to OBS but I manage to have everything working but catching my in game voice 🤦🏼♂️ Discord records me no problem I have: - audio input capture (device set to my microphone) -game capture (set to [arma:_x64.exe]: arma3) -Audio output capture (cable-A input. I got the cable vb app to split my audio into separate channels) cable-A input is set in Arma for the audio output in the options. - audio output capture (cable-B input discord channel) and finally audio output capture (cable-C input Spotify channel)

I'm gonna try my best to explain my issue. When I record my gaming sessions the recording doesn't have my voice when I use the VON. On the bottom left corner when I transmit my name shows up, with the mic and speaker icon next to it. My friends told me they can hear me in game, I'm also able to hear their voices and it gets recorded. I had that issue already using shadowplay and transitioning to OBS I'm having the same issue. I'm able to hear everything but my own voice over VON

you need to update ur openAL.dll file that will do the trick. I had the same prob everything was fine in single player but when i tried to go multiplayer it crashed so yeah update openAL.dll go to C:windows/system32 and remove openAL.dll first before installing the new one and try it. It should work oh and to get openAL just google it

we need different variations of a UH-1 "huey" a plain one one with rocket luncher one with machine guns one with miniguns but yeah at least a basic Huey would be awsome since that chopper is still used by the NZ army and the aussies and i guess prolly still use by the US army

I call it the parachute bug lol a good 70% of the time I die because of that stupid parachute. I havent been shot or anything and at like 5/10 meters above the ground my parachute desappear so if i'm lucky i've got a broken leg or i'm dead. It does occur most of the time if u try to land on a hill well at least not a plan surface. It's really annoying and nearly everyone in my clan got the same problem Hopefully the parachute will be fix and maybe someone will work on a controlable parachute

Sorry about that Gator I'm running windows XP and got the DVD version of the game so that's prolly why it's not working for you ... There are several threads about the sproket and vista if you haven't look at it you should go for it and also Google is your friend. I found the solution with google and not here unfortunatly so keep searching dont give up cause ArmA is such a cool game in MP. Oh and also maybe send an email to BIS Awsome Da_One enjoy the game man

Hey guys, I'm in the same boat and it piss me off big time !!! my config: AMD 64 dualcore 4400+ DFI SLI-DR mobo Geforce 7950 Gx2 2 Go of ram it's impossible to join a server it systematically CTD i've got no firewalls running, i've tried to lower my resolution ingame, updating drivers, voodoo dancing LOL Â Â Â I'm gonna cry soon lol someone got finally an anwser to this problem ? oh by the way i've installed the new patch 1.05 and it still not working -
Hi guys, I've got a problem when I try to join a server in MP I automatically CTD that's a real pain !!! I've tried removing my Nvidia network manager unabled windows firewall put the resolution in low updating my video card driver etc etc etc lol I'm running the 1.5 version I've got a Geforce 7950 GX2 got a LANPARTY SLI-DR mobo with onboard Network Card If you had the same problem and found a solution let me know !!!
