    Arma 3 - Feedback Tracker

Yes, I'm using headphones with Razer Surround software, When in surround mode, special effectis like twigs snapping, are coming from the rear and so hardly hearable. If I turn my hear right around, I can hear it properly.

How much can this 64bit executable help?

Perhaps a 64-bit version of Arma3 is the perfect test-bed for 64-bit stability and optimisations in the next game engine? So by implementing a 64-bit version they hope to get a touch better performance, keep the wingers off their back, and get a free and massive beta test of that architecture aspect for their next game engine.

Distorted sound when AI use radio

Same here using vanilla Arma3. Has been reported by others (see; https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/194489-164-feedback/ )

    1.64 Feedback

Yes, I'm also getting corrupted speach from the AI. Only experimented with enemy so far and not confirmed that it's the radio comms that might be the problem. Assuming it was my system issue, I've done an overhaul of drivers, etc. and the issue is still there so I'm fairly certain it's 1.64 that's at fault.

    Overlooked Attention To Detail

I've been onboard since OFP days, so I certainly appreciate the depth and detail of Arma3. Two nights ago I was on a roadblock just waiting around in the sun on Altis when I heard a bird breaking into flight above me. I'd never heard or at least noticed that before. So immersive I almost thought I was in the real world. The sound in a game has not been so good since Joint Operations which also did wonderful ambient sounds.
  6. This is like a dating site! So I don't expect to get any interest, but still....worth a try. Age: 51 Steam: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197970584217 Region: UK (so need GMT-friendly times) Availability: One night a week; Fri., Sat. or Sun. evenings. I've been computer gaming since the 1980s.... Started on OFP but largely skipped Arma, Arma2 and Arma3 because my PC wasn't up to it. Instead I spent my time on IL2 as a long-term member of the Tangmere Pilots. Now I have a stonking rig and 150Mb/sec broadband, so Arma3 has become viable! Like so many here, I'm looking for a serious (but not too serious) milsim group with a passworded server to avoid the kids TKing, no team players, game exploiters and incompetent Zeuses that plagues the public servers. Time is very limited, so I don't appreciate taking 30 minutes just to start a game and then the Zeus leaves or it's just a TKing bun-fight or it's full of people turning all their graphics settings down so they can better see the enemy. I don't really have the time for multiple games per week or regimented training, etc. Just want a reliable group of mature players and a secure server to join in on when I can. If it's good, I'll be regular.
