  1. I didn't know that Dynamic Recon Ops was 'easily' portable to other maps. Can you enlighten me on how to do that? Thanks.
  2. Some of the favorites in our group... BattleZone Altis Combat Assault Vigilancia Aeternum and, most recently, Dynamic Recon Ops. My only dislike about all of these missions is the availability of the virtual arsenal. To me that's just not realistic.
  3. As of the 1.60 update, does anyone have any idea where steam workshop subscribed mods are being put locally on the computer? All of my steam subscribed mods were updated today and seem to work. However, the @whatever folders have been removed from the arma3 folder and, in the launcher, the option to show the mod's location in windows explorer is now grayed out. I see there is an option to copy the mod to a local location and that works, so I can update my dedicated server. But, I'd like to know where Steam is now putting these mods as some of them are very large and I'd like to be the one controlling their location. Thanks for any possible help.

    It seems that, in this latest version (v1.1) that respawn has been changed to 'respawn at location of death' instead of 'respawn at base'. The problem with this is that often the reason one has died is because their position has been overrun, so respawning where you just died often result in immediate death again. Is this intended behavior or am I missing something in setup? Thanks.

  7. Hello All, Often when using DSUtils to try to sign an addon, while it makes the .bisign file, when I put the .bikey on my server I still get kicked if signature checking is enabled. Looking for any help, thanks.
  8. Hi firefox1, That's exactly what I did. And when I launch my client game I get a config error. When I do the same thing on my rented server, the server will not even start.

    Another quick note about the latest version, When the Arsenal is disabled, and when setting the RHSUSAF as the headquarters faction, the gear box now does have the mod's gear. But the box has no M67 frag grenades. Actually it has no frag grenades at all. Some of the vehicles do have a small number of M67s. Still enjoying playing this mission with our group. Looking forward to any updates. And new missions, of course.
  10. Hello ACE devs and users, I've just started trying out ACE on my groups server. We use RHSUSAF almost always and ACE displayed a message about needing a compatibility file when I connected to the server. So I moved what I think is the correct files from the optional folder to the addons folder inside the @ace folder both on the server and my client machine. Now when I lunch my client game I get a config error, and, the server won't even start now. Could someone please tell me what optional compatibility files are needed when running RHSUSAF and ACE together, Thanks.

    I would think this question should be the other way around. Does Alive support the new Malden 2035 terrain? That would be a question for the Alive dev team, of course.

    So I just tried 64bit with just CBA and Dynasound2 and still had the same issues when in a vehicle in first person, oh well, was hoping that would have worked. Very surprised to see this is still a problem after the 1.7 release.

    I've been unable to connect via BattleEye rcon ever since about the 1.60 game update. I've tried everything I can think of and, no luck.

    Newcomer to Arma, need some tips :-)

    BF style conquest mode does not even require a mod. The vanilla game has everything needed to build that game mode in the editor. I through together 'sector control' missions for my group in 5 to 10 minutes on any terrain.

    CBA - Community Base Addons - ARMA 3

    I like to know why with 3.3.0... That now on my server it has a red dot in the mod list. This happens from time to time as new versions are released. The last two showed green but this one show's red and I know it discourages some folks from joining the server.

  18. Why not just disable the ACRE2 mod when not using it? Since the you said the server is not authenticating mods, it shouldn't care if the mod is not active on a any of the clients.

    Another quick question, and I may be just missing something here. But, if I disable the arsenal in the mission parameters, what are the resupply options at that point? My understand is that normally you fill the supply box from the arsenal.

    Thanks for the update can't wait to try it out. Maybe you can help me with something. I rent our group's Arma 3 server from gameservers.com. I cannot get the Clafghan terrain to work on the server so matter what I do. I've downloaded the Arma 3 version of the terrain from Armaholic and it works fine when I start a local MP server, including using your VA mission. But, when I add @Clafghan to my rented server's command line the server will not start. When looking at the file structure of the Clafghan terrain mod it does seem to have a weird file structure with a @Clafghan folder inside the @Clafghan folder with a couple of files inside. I don't know if those files need to be moved but I've tried it both ways. Another thing I've noticed is that on the Armaholic page for the terrain it says a server key is provided but I don't find any key files when I unzip. I really like the terrain so if you, or any one else has any ideas on how to get my rented server to run with this mod I would be very grateful, thanks.

    Huge FPS drops due to sounderrors 64bit

    I have been experiencing the same problems myself and when I read the above post I was suspicious since I'm not sure what the video drivers would have to do with this problem. I have a GTX1080 card and was running v378.92 drivers as well. I updated to the 381.65 drivers and there was no change in the behavior of the 64bit Arma executable. When inside a vehicle, within 30 seconds or so, the sounds starts clicking and dropping out and huge pauses in the game occur. Oh well, sure was hoping this would be the fix. Since it only happens with the 64bit executable I fully suspect BIS will have to address the issue.

    I have ATOC set to Trees and Grass and mine looks fine with FSAA on or off.
