  1. For some reason I can't hear missile lock sounds. Actually I can hear them if I strain myself but their volume is so low it is really difficult to hear over the engine sound. This happens both when I am locked onto a target and also the missile warning when someone has launched one at me.   2. I think you guys have some audio settings messed up because I can always tell where things are via sound. Are you sure you don't have sound set as 7.1 in system sound settings and are using stereo headphones? This will really mess up your ability to perceive direction. Try Razer Surround app. For me the audio directionality of Arma is world class. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Ok I am an idiot. How do you deploy the bipod? I have it on my gun but it stays where it is whether I am prone or not. They legs never fold open to touch the ground. Not in Action menu nor under Weapon configuration. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Yes. Removed that one as well as the optional Gerald_bisign (sp?) one too after trying the first one and still no damage panel with the exception of the little icons for gear position etc but they were there before removing the optional file. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  14. This is actually a bug. Attenuation was added in a recent patch and screwed up misslelock and incoming misslelock sounds. If you go to third person you will hear these sounds loud and clear. For some reason these files are treated as outside the cockpit instead of inside as they should be. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Question to all - what volume do you play at?

    I run effects sound level in Arma around 10% as I fly choppers a lot and can't hear TS otherwise. If I am playing infantry I bump it up a bit. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Advanced Helicopter FDM Feedback

    My thoughts on AFM. I am a joystick user. As everyone is aware the Standard Flight Model had an issue where the collective had to have both X+ and X- bound to Collective Raise (analog) to make throttles work for more than 50% of the range. Now we have Advanced Flight model where it works with X- bound to Collective Raise (analog) and X+ bound to Collective Lower (analog) as it should be. The mentioned issue with Standard model was answered by BIS as "being a legacy code issue" and that the workaround described above was the only way to deal with it. Well, now that it works with Advanced Flight Model can we please change so that the Collective inputs for Standard match the ones for AFM. It is quite tiring having to set Collective settings every time you want to switch between flight models. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    FYI. Flew some transport last night and HMD worked fine in Hummingbird and Ghosthawk but did not show when I got in a Mohawk.
