Have to insert DVD to play OA

I found that whenever I want to play OA, I have to insert the DVD in.

IS there a way for me to play it without inserting DVD?

I do not need DVD to play original AA2 since I bought it on steam, but this OA, I got it as DVD.

Usually BIS tend to remove the DVD dependancy after a few patches. Any sort of cracks might trigger the FADE in game, which you probably don't want to happen and isn't even permited here.

Download the latest patch for OA. That'll allow you to play without the disc inside the drive.

He means the developers of this game normally REMOVE the DVD dependency.

In other words we will not need to insert the CD into the drive after a patch or two has been released. :)

So it means so far all of us who bought DVD box need to insert DVD to play?

at first I thought it was only me with this problem lol :)

When I installed OA it asked me if I want to activate it online. I activated it and voila - no disk needed. :)

But I'm not sure if the online activation is in every version.
