acoustic 82 Posted June 23, 2010 (edited) I am currently playing the demo of Arma2 and am quite impressed. What I was wondering though, will the price of Arma 2 drop after Arrowhead is released? Thanks. Edited June 23, 2010 by Acoustic
jakerod 254 Posted June 23, 2010 It could. I would just buy the ArmA II: Combined Operations though. Its ArmA II and OA and is apparently FAR cheaper than buying both separately.

Eh..I don't plan on getting OA because I am going to play Project Reality.
jakerod 254 Posted June 23, 2010 Eh..I don't plan on getting OA because I am going to play Project Reality. Your loss then I guess. You might as well wait to buy it and see I guess. I would think that the price might drop by at least a little bit.
Deadfast 43 Posted June 23, 2010 Eh..I don't plan on getting OA because I am going to play Project Reality. If it is the A2 version you mean it is not yet decided if it will require Arrowhead or not (waiting for the release).
acoustic 82 Posted June 23, 2010 If it is the A2 version you mean it is not yet decided if it will require Arrowhead or not (waiting for the release). They said they have no plans on using OA for PR. On another note, how much does Bohemia usually drop prices by?
Flash Thunder 10 Posted June 23, 2010 PR will probably require OA in some form or another you can get combined operations for 50 dollars both OA and Arma 2 you dont want 3 extra islands, FLIR and all the new features your loss.
Simon C 0 Posted June 23, 2010 (edited) It wouldn't be Bohemia dropping prices. That's up to the game stores, who most likely have it in their older games sections by now. Unless you mean online, which means it's the publisher's choice from what I hear. Dropping OA for PR though? Oh dear... Your choice I guess. EDIT: Oh, and you're new to the forum, the thread is this topic itself. Quite easy to get the two confused. :) Edited June 23, 2010 by Simon C
acoustic 82 Posted June 23, 2010 I guess I will wait and get the Combined Operations. Now I will finally have something to do over the rest of the summer! ..that and wait for an Elder Scrolls V announcement.
M9ACE 0 Posted June 23, 2010 ArmA2: Combined Operations would be a better value for someone who does not already have ArmA2.
Zipper5 74 Posted June 23, 2010 Eh..I don't plan on getting OA because I am going to play Project Reality. Wait what? Why wouldn't PR be compatible with OA?
Sayyan 10 Posted June 23, 2010 Even if the PR team don't require OA, you'll still be able to use OA with PR, and get all the extra features like FLIR and the three new islands.
W0lle 1050 Posted June 23, 2010 Price = Reseller/Publisher decision, not BIS.
