(sorry if this is in wrong place, but i couldnt think of anywhere else this should go) Anyway, i want to change the interface about. But i wouldnt know how. Does anyone here know any good turorials or something. Ive looked through the forums, and search engines, and OFPEC. but couldnt find any tutorials on this. ben_s 11 Posted June 7, 2010 Umm, i want to be able to like mod the interface, umm. Adding like menu's, and like... hmm... At end of mission say, a box with a form pops up. And it just saves the value you enter. Or, when you open up map, you can press a "report" button, and imput values into a form that gets saved. Im trying to start small, and just add some nice little "realism" addititions for ingame. Sorry if i misunderstood what the "interface" is in modding.... Say, placing a new screen, like adding an action, and when activated a new screen appears that will have buttons etc, then when I press a button, it will run a certain script or something. Q1184 0 Posted July 17, 2010 You seem te be talking about creating dialogs. Here's a biki explaining how to configure dialogs. Also find addons/missions that have custom dialogs (or whatever else you want to mess with), open them and explore their structure and content to get an idea how to set up your own thing.
