For about 2 months it was like all over the news, tv, radio, newspaper etc... people where coughing up and dying left right and centre, then it just suddenly stopped? People realized the over exaggeration and decided to deal with it like they do any other highly infectious slightly dangerous 'disease' but without all the media and running around screaming the end of humanity. All my friends and family including my wife and son who i was in close proximity of every day had it and i carried on unaffected.
