RimaP_P 10 Posted May 2, 2010 Hi, im trying to view some units in Oxigen 2 and when i try to open that P3D unit, appear this message : "Unable to load binarized version of the P3D. Mesh loaded into the editor is only know bounding box of the P3D model. You can see some properties in Named Properties window". Is there a tool to unbinaried P3D? [frl]myke 14 Posted May 2, 2010 No, there is absolutely no way to open up binarized MLOD's. If they are BIS Units you'll probably have to wait until BIS releases them (although i think to remember that they released a single A2 unit already) or contact the addonmaker for unbinarized MLOD. For ArmA1 they atleast had also a vehicle in the initial sample model package. Still waiting for that as the selections and model.cfg changed, so I couldn't use the ArmA1 mlod for vehicles with my few knowledge of vehicles. If they are worried about somebody stealing their models, they should worry, as you can allready rip every 3d model of nearly every game of the last 5 years with an external app. If the issue is time... lol.... 30mins tops -Switch to ArmA2 work folder - Copy Work Folder - Search for *.rvmat;*.paa - Delete contents - Rightlick subwork folder (e.g. "wheeled") - Click create 7zip/zip. Repeat - Take ArmA1 MLOD license - Open mlod license with notepad - Hit CRT-F. Replace ArmA1 with ArmA2. - Upload zip files to BI server - Open a new announcment (maybe they did all the previous steps weeks ago but Placebo forgot the announcment :eek: ) Edited May 3, 2010 by Icewindo Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Before saying everywhere how great their community is, BI should really support it with Mlods and documented tools and configs :mad: Reverse engineering is killing us.
