Help with creation of addon..

So I have a model for something that I want to make an addon for ArmA2, its textured and modelled and everything. I just don't know what to do with it now.

I want to make it a Harrier type of plane, but its not a Harrier it just acts aero-dynamically the same. What should I do now?

So you have it UV'd, textured, and modeled properly, here's what I say.

1. LODS

2. Configs

3. RVMAT's? (normals, speculars, occlusions etc.)

I don't do vehicles, I do units, Gnat will probably be posting in this thread quickly, he can help you more than I can ;).

How can I take a model that was created in Google SketchUp (7) and put it in Oxygen2?

When I try to open an imported 3ds model it gives me an error: "Unable to load. Load error."

I need to know this first before I go anywhere else..

Try to convert the 3ds to obj, obj worked better than 3ds for me when using the warehouse as reference. You might have to mirror all faces though as most times the objects turned inside out for me.

Thanks for the help, stupid me I was trying to OPEN a .3ds file instead of importing it..

I will try to familiarize myself more before jumping the ball like this.
