DeathShrimp 0 Posted April 12, 2002 I pinched this question from a Half-Life poll ages ago, but I think it's a goody... What type of music, or specific tracks, get you going before/during OFP? To get the ball rolling, I stick on a bit of Rammstein, Massive Attack, Hans Zimmer, Metallica...

Sheriff 0 Posted April 12, 2002 Playing any kind of music through the PC is just horrible. That's why i have my stereo setup with few hundered dollar speakers (each btw) and a nice Amp. Yet it's nothing compared to next doors Concert sized Speakers.
shadow 6 Posted April 12, 2002 I love playing one of my still-not-released-missions (with Metallica -Blitzkrieg) on my pc connected to my Seleco SVP-320 and Yamaha DSP-A2 with full surround from my AR1's and AR15's To those who don't know: Seleco SVP-320 (CRT-projector) -I use a 80"screen AR1 (2x5 1/4" +1 15" active 500w rms subwoofer) = that's 1 speaker (Ofcourse I got 2) ;p

kegetys 2 Posted April 12, 2002 Im currently listening to a band named Morphia. Other bands I usually listen include: Immortal Souls Soul Embraced Thy Pain Paramaecium Underoath Antestor Sanctifica Deuteronomium Those all just rock I always stop the music when the actual game starts in ofp, but while waiting for a multiplayer game to end or when in the lobby I usually play music with winamp. IceFire 0 Posted April 12, 2002 I don't like to listen to music while playing OPF. Maybe for other games. But not OPF. OPF is about realism. Like you actually are the soldier in the field. You need to have a clear and level and objective head. Not being all pumped up listening to some Metallica. I mean, do you hear music that comes out of nowhere in real life? Like when you are walking around, you see a person you don't like and then you start to hear dramatic music?? Nope, I think music is a hindrance in this game. I would rather listen to the chirping crickets or the sound of approaching enemy footsteps or for tanks.
