Open building doors (crazy question)

Hi,

today, suddenly i was not able to open a door on a user made island that i normally could open with actionmenu "Open Door".

Then i loaded Chenerus and saw that the doors of nearly all buildings that are accessible are opened from the start and not closed.

But on Chenerus i was able to open and close these doors.

Is this normal (ArmA2 1.05) ?

Opening doors is glitchy as hell. Some you have to stand 10 meters from to open, others I just can't get to open because it's like there is a magical blade of grass you have to be standing on the door open option to pop up. I hate that when you see it flash for a split second and you can't find the sweet spot.

Mh, i just thought that most doors are closed at the beginning and not opened.

Lol i just experienced this...i walked into a building on a custom map i play a lot and I was able to open every door in the building from the center of the it...i was a good 25m away from any door. I reloaded the map and i coudln't do it again. Most odd.

sad that doors are glitchy in this game :(

The worst part is the AI can just walk through them and youre sitting like a duck trying to escape to no avail.

Hate that the AI walk through them and I find that opening gates on the map is hard as hell too. You have to stand at a slant then you get thrown back when it actually opens,
