Thanks eggbeast, you've put in a lot of work on the different versions you've made. I can't wait to try out this version though, with all the mods. :)

Thanks for all this work eggbeast. I have combined your modifications with mandoble's bomb console (found in mando missiles) and it reallly adds to it. Keep up the good work.

i hada little play with mando missiles - didnt seem to add much in fact it made it super hard to target anything, but i may have made a hash of the init etc

what exactly did you do and how did it create a benefit? i.e. what functionality should i be tryingto import and why...?

The ability to call in CAP, CAS, reinforcements, ammo, vehicles, reconnaisance etc etc make it PERFECT for Evolution.

It does take away the Tab-Kill Tab-Kill noob gameplay and adds a MUCH superior alternative. Check out the latest beta from mandoble, play the missions (especially the mma_test_console mission) that come with it, pick your jaw from the floor and bow down to his guru-ship :) Seriously MMA adds STACKS to any mission (and it is HIGHLY customisable for the mission maker!)

I have the V4 Duala Evo to work with ACE2

As i m interested to play the Evo mainly as SP..i want the ability

to "recruit" A.I. from the very beggining.

I disabled (of course) the "ranked" mode..but Config still permits me from

recruit AI.

So...is there a way ( a very easy 1) for me to fix this??

*Please keep in mind that the words:"Script-sqs-sqf e.t.c" for me looks like eeer...Asian food?? :D

Ow..btw A.I. works "regular" with ACE2 guyz? I v tried 1-2 more EVO ACE2 missions

but the AI gunners doesnt even move the turret or spot enemies ://

easiest way with the current mission -

set colonel at 120 points

and unlocked status

join as commander

do a combat search and rescue mission with an M107 (so no-one can kill you)

kill all 8 enemies and bring back the doctor to the base = 18 points.

get 2 more kills and you can now call a medic...

meanwhile I'll have alook at the script andsee if I can unlock the AI recruiting... should be straightforward

Well..maybe u r right about the 1st solution u proposed (just to save u from trouble ;) ).

Anyways if i play it SP i 'll have to possibility to "save" and "keep" my awarded points..so the next time i 'll "load" the mission to continue i ll have instant AI recruits.

If u allow me a humble suggestion..i 'll propose to make a version who utilizes all ACE features and weaponry.

*EDIT

Lame..i was wrong about "SAVE" function in game.

SAVE function available only in Domination type :(

Giorgy - you can now toggle on UNLOCKED AI and recruit 8 at private rank

Hi!

Thanks again for your outstanding work

I have been testing Gits Evo Duala Mod V4

the following messages I would like to report, dont know if important or not

a.)

when entering mission there is some text saying

variable not defined |# num3

the exact message went away too fast

b.)

map notice: scripts/caverac130/gcac130pic.paa not found

c.)

pressing T

variable display vendor does not support serialization and should not be stored in mission namespace

am I missing something with my configuration?

default is 50 - check the colonel points parameter at server start screen

This is excellent, mate! I've modded around the old Chernarus GITS and I have to say I was missing it in Duala. Top-notch work!

yeah he bugs out sometimes - mostly if you died during the mission. all ofthe side missions have a few probs if you die before achieving the mission, but they only bug out on client and they're not catastrophic. just run him over and call another one. try to keep the mission caller alive.

worst case is something like doc not responding or the enemy not spawning. more frequently its just that you cant get any points when you complete, but you can still complete it. ideally, you complete and get the points... play the game of averages - do 20 missions and maybe 4 will bug...
