High outcome of a nuclear war

Ok, maybe i'm exadurrating, but what if a nuclear war breaks out...due to all the fights breaking out...Israel and Palestine, Afghanistan Attacks, September 11th Events, Iraqi bombing, ect. ect. These guys behind desks really need to chill out and rest their rage in a game of OFP. Don't you think. What has the world come to?

What if the next giant meteor we didn't see coming actually hits? Nothing much you can do in either case, just hope the heads of countries with nuclear arsenals stay sane and that the Osama Bin Ladens of the world never get their hands on a nuke

I dont really think nuclear war is too likely. Russia and US were not too happy with eachother but in the end they didnt launch nukes. Pakistan and India are at eachothers throats and yet havent nuked eachother. Israel isnt the Arabs best friend and they have nukes. They havent used them on anyone yet, even when they are in such a threatened position.

So basically, al lthe people that have nukes and have a valid reason to use them, have never used em. Sooo I guess its not likely.

But never say never...

We were damn close a few times though. It's now known that Nixon was considering using Nukes in Vietnam and Kissinger convinced him not to, it's reported that during the Cuban missile crisis Castro asked the USSR that they strike first, and there was even an incident when NORAD confused a flock of Canada geese flying over the artic with a flights of Russian bombers, and launched their bombers and interceptors. Luckily a fighter pilot realised their mistake before it was too late.

Currently i assume the biggest nuclear threat emerges from small "dirty bombs", radical groups could get their hands on and use at these unstable and troubled times in the middle east, to cause complete chaos and a reforming of power balance.

Iraq could also be a factor for deployment of nuclear weapons.... although indirectly;

Of course it´s all hypthotetical, but if the U.S. is going to attack Iraq, and if Hussein would be launching everything within his arsenal, in terms of B- and C weapons towards Israel, to create something like a doomsday scenario, a nuclear attack could be indeed provoced. The consequences for such an attack would be fatal not only to Iraq, but the whole region and beyond.

as for the Nuke situation.. for the US to really knock the shit out of anyone it would probably take

A: a fairly large scale "dirty bomb" or bio attack on the US..

B: the source of the attack would have to be proven to the international community without the shadow of a doubt by any of the major players (GB, USSR, etc etc)

if both of those conditions are met.. good bye asshole.

1 i dont come from pakistan im scottish

2 graduated high school lolol i finshed highschool about 15 years ago, with 7 0 levels all grade c and above, ive also just last year, completed my Higher national diploma in Environmental Biology.

3 I trained as a typist for many years and could probably outtype most people but as regards to my grammar, i tend to write in my scots slang, which is a very common thing to do for scots on the net.

maybe my grammar is bad to u but im sure most folks on the forum would agree that they would rather read a bit of " dodgy grammar" than racial sentences that u provided

i can type well above that level, as i said i worked in typist situations before, which require fast typing either from voice dictation or tapes, and also requires speeds of 150+ wpm at times.

so i could assure you that there would be no place of employment in my firm, for yourself because your typing skills and speeds are just not up to par.
