SupaRico 0 Posted November 16, 2001 Hey has anyone else had major MAJOR problems with OFP 1.3 freezing? It seems everything after 1.2 has caused me to freeze worse and worse! Single, multiplayer it doesnt matter the game will play for a random while then totally lock the computer up forcing reboot. I havent seen any error messages or anything just.... freeze. I'm using a P3 1gig, GF2 Ultra, turtle beach santa cruz. I even played the game at a internet cafe on a 1gig that was using a Raedon 64 ddr and had it freeze once too. Anyone have ANY idea at all as to what is causing it? I love this game too d*amn much to have to reboot the computer every 5 minutes while playing. Thanks SupaRico

Placebo 29 Posted March 6, 2002 Do any of you overclock your cpus? that can lead to freezing/rebooting, how's your cooling? overheating can lead to the same, of course always make sure you have the latest drivers, I have a Kyro2 and there was one driver release that rebooted my puter 60 seconds into Opf EVERY time, now that was not a fun experience

Aeon 0 Posted March 6, 2002 I has this problem before. My CPU working at 100% and occasionaly freeze until I reboot. Solution is quite simple : change your graphic card driver ! Since I use Detonator 23.11 (GeForceIIMX), my CPU process is lower and ofp don't freeze or crash anymore
OIK 0 Posted March 6, 2002 I DONT GET IT i pay so much money for this game and its always freeze and i must reboot. You who have created the game sucks. Why? did you hurry so much and levaing the game with so many bugs . I Love this game and some times i get excited jumping into an mi1a tank and blowing the hell out of my own troops because it doesnt freeze directly so killing my own troops near by is easier. Whats that about disabling the AGP4 ? from BIOS SETUP? does it work?

"You who have created the game sucks." Saying silly things like that will get you nowhere, we here will help you out all we can but we're not going to if you post rubbish, the game works fine for me so I could turn around and say "the game doesn't suck you do" but I wouldn't because that's immature and stupid, post your system specs with details of your problem and we will do our utmost to help you out

Placebo 29 Posted March 6, 2002 Don't get me wrong I DO understand, I DO feel your pain, I love this game so much that I want everyone to be able to enjoy it as much as me, that's why I spend so many hours a week giving up my freetime working on these forums to help people out as much as I possibly can. I just went through troubleshooting and found your original post again, a couple of us gave suggestions to solve your problem but you haven't replied saying whether or not you tried them? I'll bump your original post back up to the top and we'll start again in there, read your thread and the replies and let me know if you tried the suggestions
