Any good ACE 2 small coop missions with revive/respawn system?

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody,

We are a bunch of teammates gathered in a community: PingZero Tactical.

We like to play small coop missions using tactics.

I create this thread to list all the ACE 2 small coop missions (10 players or better less) which use a revive/respawn system.

I know it might sound like I put too many conditions but I think such missions exist and I would like some help to find them.

I searched ArmaHolic and this sub-forum but i didn't find any except Alleycat and JW Custom's missions which are awesome but lack a revive/respawn system.

Thank you for your answers

Post your mission!:)

Yes JW Custom's missions are amazing and a great fun to play but they don't have a revive system.

Thanks for the link anyway.

Anybody else?

Well I mostly make small coop missions, as those are the most fun imo. The respawn style is "squad" however. You keep switching to any remaining AI in the group (under 10 people) until you're all dead.

Here's a couple. Updated occasionally in my missions thread (see sig)

If you can do any tweeking with the mission editor you can usually edit single player missions for multi-play, or take some of the bigger MP missions and reduce the numbers of enemy to suit.

One other thing, I don't think any of the "revive" scripts work with ACE2, at least not yet. I could be wrong though, and would be glad to hear otherwise myself for the missions I work on for our squad.

The revive scripts work perfectly with ACE2 and we use them on a regular basis in our clan-based ACE2 missions, as do several other large clans that I know of.

The one proviso is that you can't use the ACE wounding system when using the revive scripts, however, depending on which revive system you use you can simulate many of the ACE wounding system features using revive.

So the ACE menu, where you have to examine, then use a bandage or injection, will work and require the medic to have the supplies to use? If so I will definitely be giving the revive script another look. But having medics running around with packs full of ammo or explosives rather than medical supplies seems silly, which is what happens if they don't need the supplies.

I used to have some small team missions for clan training in A1/ACE that were very popular with my guys and gals. Maybe it's time to make some for A2 as well.
