Get AI to drop what they're doing?

Are there any mods out there that will allow me to override the stubborn AI while under fire so that they immediately follow my command? At times the AI is not in good enough cover and taking casualties from other AI. I'd like for them to be able to run to me or run wherever I tell them to IMMEDIATELY without waiting. Is this possible and is there a mod for it? Don't get me wrong, I know they have to do what they do sometimes for the good of all but at times I wish I could command them. If it were real life and I said, "come on, you'r about to get killed! Run to me or you will die", I'd be willing to bet that people would listen and come running at all costs.

This is especially painful when ordering them into vehicles. I know it depends on what mode they're in, safe, aware, etc, but switch them to safe even at times is slow. I would much rather have a special command via the menu to get them to do what I tell them to do at any cost.

There's an addon request thread for a reason. Please use it. It's stickied especially so people know about it. I don't think It's working, though.

Unless im mistake Ghost Recon (the original) did have a "At all costs" mode for the AI so they would move regardless of there own detection/suppression etc. Very nice feature too.

Well im about to post a "at all costs" mode request in the requests thread :)

What about the stick together mod? I didn't try it yet but from the description it seemed to to solve some of the running of problems?

Stick together is great for situations where your team/leader go off on thier own little missions and spread too much in the line of fire. So that works as it should to keep cohesive formations while under fire etc.

But a "At all costs" mode would overlay into a new command.

IE: say you have sent 3 members 100 meters or less to your right flank and they are suppressed or under fire, and you need to move and also that 3 man team (for example a tracked vehicle is on route, heli attack or you spot RPG heading their way very soon).

You request them to return/move to new location, they stay in danger mode more often than not and then bounding over watch slows them, they also return fire and stay while targeting meaning they may not move right away (this is all fine and nothing out of the ordinary obviously). Setting "move at all costs" would get them to haul ass as soon as you request them to do so, overriding any danger mode/and any return fire and targeting at that moment so they do as you ask directly on request. Clearly its your discretion as a leader to make sure this is a good time to do so and your fault if they get sprayed down :)

I can see plenty of scenarios where that extra kick up the ass for AI would help you out, especial when you have split teams up or using high command etc.

Or when you have to get to the extraction Helo before enemys arrive. Really would love this command
