Antichrist 0 Posted April 6, 2002 I think True Lies with Arnie was pretty dodgy In the movie terrorists didn't kill a single guy Arnie killed heaps So who is terrorist now?
Satchel 0 Posted April 6, 2002 Yeah, but many films like Hot Shots, True Lies etc. are commedys, rather than "serious" action films they want to come exaggerated and hillarious across, that´s the idea behind them.
DodgeME 0 Posted April 6, 2002 Rambo? I thought that Rambo was a science fiction movie!

Everyone in the military I belive is taught on how to use and what are enemy guns. There are some "Incindearey" (not sure on spelling) granades which do make large fire balls, but military dosen't use em, LE may use em to scare people though. Die Alive 0 Posted April 6, 2002 Probably the most obvious one was in John Wayne's Green Berets, where the sun sets in the EAST! But the one I think sucked even more than Green Berets... G.I. Jane (female Navy SEAL..... enough said.) -=Die Alive=-
Albert Schweitzer 10 Posted April 6, 2002 female Navy seals, why not? But you were right, the film was sooo bad and played with all present images of elite-forces. What a desaster! Anyway, there are sooooooo many bad action-films on this planet. The ones from the 80ies for example that you can watch at around 2am on some cheap TV-channels. I cant believe people actually once said: "lets go to the cinema tonight and watch Acapulco-Assault" and others said:"yeah great idea!"
Major Fubar 0 Posted April 7, 2002 OK, Seagal's movies mightn't be very realistic, but his early movies were great (back when he used to make R movies instead of M). They were so violent: eye gouging, back breaking, arm breaking, and - my favourite - smashing a guys teeth in by shoving a sawed off shotgun in his mouth. Ahh, memories. Assault (CAN) 1 Posted April 7, 2002 </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">But the one I think sucked even more than Green Berets... G.I. Jane (female Navy SEAL..... enough said.)<span id='postcolor'> Yeah, I hated when the camera would zoom in and out really fast, that drove me nuts. 'Behind Enemy Lines' looked crappy from the first time I saw the previews, never saw it. Alot of old timey movies are really bad too, alot of them were even used for recruiting purposes. Its always funny to see someone get shot in the back with a .50 cal MG and all you see in the way of injuries is a little red spot of 'blood'. Some of the better old timey movies (as far as the story/acting goes) would be 'Bridge over the river Qwai (sp?)' or 'A bridge too far' Tyler

nordin dk 0 Posted April 7, 2002 A Knights Tale...probably the worst film in the world And a warm welcome to baldy_ Are you really bald?
InRange 1 Posted April 8, 2002 I don't know about you guys, but I just love those 80's crappy action movies. Especially Rambo 2, when Rambo picks up an M60 from a chopper and fires it with only one hand and very accurately at about 20 Spetsnaz( ! ) without being shot. LauryThorn 0 Posted April 8, 2002 I think that Blackhawk down sucked, still it was somehow realistic.. I just don't like movies where "enemies" are faceless "bandits" with no emotions or person at all.. BTW.What was the thing in Blackhawk down with those American flags in their shoulders? The stars were in the right corner of the flag?
